I came here for a business lunch with a couple of colleagues. I decided to go with the ramen combo, which is a small plate (starter), one ramen and a drink. My starter was the Spicy Tori Karaage, which is a Japanese Fried Chicken in spicy chili sauce, garlic and other tasty ingredients. The coating was crispy and crunchy, while the chicken inside was hot and juicy. Will eat again! For my main, it was the Tonkotsu Tantan. The ingredients again were super tasty and fresh. The broth was very, very flavorful and almost cream-like and topped with pork crumbles. The thick noodles certainly suited this dish. Didn't try a desert, but I'm sure they're good, too. Have to give the service people a shout-out as they were continually checking up on us, keeping drinks topped up and giving us great insight into their food. A repeat is on the books next time I'm in this area.
I was so excited about Afuri opening in LA since I loved their Yuzu ramen when I tried them in Japan 🇯🇵 Their Karage is delicious! But their yuzu ramen doesn’t have enough yuzu flavor. They have cute atmosphere with bar area with lots of Japanese whiskeys and liquors. Love their ambience but little disappointed on their Yuzu ramen.
The noodle is good but the pork(chashu) is ok. The soft crab bun is not recommended because it tastes weird with kimchi. The fried chicken is good. The takoyaki is good.
Afuri is one of my fav ramen in Japan This spot, the ramen isnt as good as in Japan but still good The whole restaurant has a different vibe, many seats , bar and chill, its cool! Also i wouldnt recommend the crab bun that everyone ordered on yelp, its normal and expensive
The food here is amazing. Everything had so much delightful flavors that our meal was silent as we all devoured our food. From the gyoza options to the tomato ramen they’ll have your tastebuds and mind wrapped in ecstasy. Service was amazing and the vibe super chill
Super disappointed as I thought it would be comparable to the Afuri I have experienced in Japan. Fine if you feel like ramen but wouldn't go out of my way for this place. The buns are meh, winged dumplings soggy and ramen meh. The beauty of Afuri is the flame grilled pork in the ramen and it just doesn't cut it. Nice enough atmosphere.
Well designed and creative menu. Love the Yuzu shio ramen! So special. The milk tea drink is astonishingly good as well.
Great unique Japanese inspired cocktails. We ordered two appetizers, two gyoza, and the yuzu donuts. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Holy wow this place was DELICIOUS! I got the shrimp sando and my friend got the chicken sando (he had never heard of or had a sandwich like that before and still talks about to this day). The shrimp sando was soooo good! Perfectly worked with walnuts
Food, service, and atmosphere all 5/5. I got the BBQ Catfish (the catfish is lightly breaded and fried) Bowl-Lito, incredible. The people were super friendly and patient, with so many tasty options I didnât know what to get. The atmosphere was marv
We discovered this hidden gem near our hotel on New Yearâs Eve. The restaurant had beautiful decor, and the food experience exceeded our expectations. Not realizing the portions were so generous, we ordered more than we could eat. The staff was inc
Solid lunch spot. Prices are very reasonable considering the times. All their meats have the nice smoky charred taste, which I love. Iâd say not a dinner spot if youâre looking for some ambience, but still great for take out. Tried both the yakin

I have a soft spot for classic Japanese restaurants that have Yakitori as they remind me of a childhood restaurant. Sake House Miro was a recommendation from good friends who moved to LA so naturally we came to try it! The Yakitori we ordered was al

My new fav sushi spot in Brentwood! The spicy tuna crispy rice is so good and their miso soup has so much flavor. The best roll is the fire crunch, I highly reccomend you come and try!

I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav

I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite! The o
Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
