Afton Motel - Motel in Wichita - 855 S Broadway, USA

The location was the only thing good about this motel. The first time ever there and the owner accused me of breaking into another room as an excuse to trespass me. He refused to provide any police report number or evidence that I was the person he thought I was. Seeing as how I had only bee. There the one time it was impossible for him to have seen me breaking into another room.

The owner is a very nice and reasonable person. Had helped a friend check out a few places down here on Broadway and most were very rude. If you are needing a less expensive place to stay then check this out. Among rough options this is one of the best. I have to say though - be careful in this part of town. There is a concentration of undesirables along Broadway - would not recommend for a single female.

11/14/2023 there was so much drug traffic on the tip and bottom level across from the office wanted to rent a room for my son For a year but from all the dope heads running in and out different rooms we decided not to abd whoever the guy is with the due rag on that cleans the rooms he needs to be fired he allowed the traffic......

I stay at the Afton Motel and I like it . The staff is curtious and helpful. The owner is nice and the rats are good. But you are not allowed guests after 10pm.The rooms have a kitchenette, walk-in closet, as well as full size beds.

Drugs and every one I saw was on some thing scary place don't take your family there unless u do Drugs then you are in the right place

Portions of the balcony are in disrepair, and dangerous. Constant traffic day in day out, with a need for a significant police presence. Not a place you want to bring a family.

I like how the beds are always new and the sheets are always perfectly clean.. it's outdated, but gives it a great nostalgic feel
