This is definitely a hidden gem. The Martin Luther King Center's African American Heritage Museum is a must see. The museum includes a wide range of African artifacts and other historical items. They often have featured art installations to view or for sale. There are friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.

We went to see a quilt exhibit which was pretty good, and received a tour by a caring staff person. It was difficult to see around their community adult program going on. Great art collection and memorabilia. Time to move to a larger space.

I was at the museum in Atlantic City in the summer of 2020. Fascinating museum. Extremely interesting exhibits and the staff were quick to explain everything. I learned a lot about Atlantic City and the African American contribution to that city. Very much worth the time

I am thrilled at the success of the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey in Newtonville, NJ. There is always historical displays regarding the African American experience. The Museum is housed inside of the Community Center which I will provide a more intense review of. This is a treasure for the community and all who visit.
