It was my first time to eat here and I cant wait to go back. The food is so fresh and delicious! I had enough leftover to have another meal the next day and the prices are great, you get very large portions with each order. Thankful for April for such a warm welcome and the great , friendly service she gave us!
So many great options! I chose the lamb gyro and it was delicious! 😋🥙 I liked the decorations in the restaurant as well!
Really great spot. Recommend eating at the restaurant when it is extra fresh. Great variety of menu. Lamb plate is a must.
Awesome place! Had a great experience here. Food is delicious and tastes fresh. We got a falafel plate and lamb plate and the meat was flavorful and tender. The chickpeas are a little spicy, but in a flavorful yummy way. Our only note of feedback is the sauce that comes on the side of the platters tastes like mayo mixed with some herbs… did not match the flavors of the rest of the food at all and I would say needs improvement. Overall though good value, good service, clean and pleasant environment. Recommend you check it out!
Ordered delivery. Arrived quickly which was great. Everything was still warm . I got the lamb kebab plate . The lamb was very fatty and out of the 7-8 pieces three were chewy fat. The rice itself didn't feel as though it had salt on it at all. The salad I wish was in a separate container as well because it got hot being next to the other items .
I ordered the chicken gyro, and it was very good. They do not skimp on the amount of meat, which is great. I wish the ambiance were more inviting. It is just one big room with tables, as if it were a cafeteria on base. For people who only care about the food and not the whole experience, this is for you! By the way, the bathrooms are super clean, which is a huge plus for me. If the bathroom is clean, the kitchen follows...
Our family loves this restaurant. The food is always excellent and everyone enjoys it. The flavors are wonderful and you can taste the thoughtfulness that goes into each plate. The staff is consistently kind and friendly. They go the extra mile to make sure everyone is cared for.
I wanted this excision experience to be good. Even after being on hold for about 10 minutes then being hung up on (hint #1 not to eat there), then being on hold for about 20 minutes, all the way up to telling them to hang up on me because I was already there (hint #2), then being told that they don't carry an Afghan restaurant staple that is listed on their menu (hint #3), and this was the first time across three continents that an Afghan restaurant did not have at least one Afghan working there (hint #4), I still ordered. They do not have a full Afghan menu, pretty much just kabobs, abs falafel (which isn't even Afghan). So I ordered a kaftan (shemi) kabob, it came with kabuki rice and chick peas. The chick peas were way too sweet, the rice had no Seasoning and the kabob was horrible. The picture I've attached didn't really do justice to how bad it really was. Please don't eat there, but if you do, don't consider it real Afghan food real Afghan food is very good.
