It's a spacious room. There is technically no one to clean your room but you can ask for new towels and sheets. If you are there 3 days or longer, I believe you can have them clean your room. Direct access to the beach. To me, it's pricey but there aren't many hotel options. The pool is great. There is a connecting outdoor room coming from the beach, to the pool and hotel. I wish it had a bar available. Would be nice for the parents 😀

Our family just returned from a stay at the Adventurer, and we have nothing but positives to say. We had opted to pay a minimal fee for an early check-in @1pm, however we had received a text saying our room was ready even sooner. My check-in process was made incredibly easy by Mary. She was wonderful! Once in our room (PH4) we were greeted with complimentary fudge, cleanliness and an amazing view. Refreshing & restocking toiletries & necessities is made very easy with a door tag. Everything we requested was brought quickly that morning. The entire property is kept very well, the grounds & housekeeping staff are very detailed & professional. We loved using the second floor sundeck! I've read several reviews mentioning the elevators, and yes, they can be slow. That said, it's an older property, with older elevators. I guess if there is one flaw, I'll take slow elevators. But on vacation I'm not really in any rush anyhow. We would totally, highly recommend the Adventurer to anyone. The location is both beautiful and convenient, with a fabulous staff.

Good location, right next to the beach and boardwalk, and great outside gathering places, however was disappointed in this hotel. For the daily room rate, I would have expected a bit more from the property. Beds and pillows were like lead. Our room was never cleaned/refreshed. Clean towels were thrown in our room even though we didn't use the don't disturb placard. Most importantly was the parking!! Each room gets one parking spot, which by the way is not a numbered spot. You just have to hope there is one there for you. Most of the cars did not use the parking hang tag, so who knew if they were legitimate cars for the hotel. In fact we found at least 8 cars that did not have a hang tag. The staff was not very helpful and we had to park on the street. For this amount of money, we should have a guaranteed spot!!!

Pro: Great location, staff does a great job keeping it clean all day & evening! Pool is nice. Con: sitting on your deck you get wet from the air conditioner from above, no handi cap ramp besides from the basement, and than u have this slow as hell elevator, 10 elevators have come and gone had to carry everything up n down 5 flights of stairs waiting, carried a cart down the steps because of the elevator by the time we packed the car, we had an elevator to get my grandmother down with her walker. All in all it was a nice place.

This was not our first stay at the Adventurer Oceanfront Inn. It was by far, however, the worst. There's an old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you." "Fool me twice, shame on me." Well, shame on me. Two weeks before our scheduled arrival I sent the Inn an email with a question about our stay. We never received a response. A week before arrival I called the Inn two separate times, each time automatically being placed on hold and each time, after holding 20 minutes, never receiving a response. Upon arrival the message light on the phone in our room kept flashing. After checking messages several times, and discovering there weren't any, I called down to the front desk to report an issue with the phone. They were argumentative and told me that unless there also is a beep the flashing light doesn't mean anything. So, if the light isn't working is it not logical to assume that the beeping mechanism might also be on the fritz? A class establishment, in order to pacify guests, would have sent someone to the room to check on the problem. They didn't and basically told me to live with it. In the middle of the week a group of young adults was having a wild party on the deck overlooking the pool. They were shouting and cursing on top of their lungs, concentrating on using the "F" word. Finally, unable to sleep, I called down to the front desk at shortly after 1:30 a.m. Ring ... ring ... ring and no answer. Eventually the "party" broke up, but what happens if there's an emergency and no one's minding the store or, more insidiously, no one cares enough to answer the phone on a front desk call? The only positive I can give this place is the service we received in their restaurant. Everyone was most pleasant, helpful, and very attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, there are no beds to be found there!

I originally booked my trip for 1 night. Less than a week before my check in I called to see if I could extend my stay an extra night. The staff was friendly and accommodating and made it happen. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were decently sized and nicely updated. Even the restaurant in the hotel had good food and service. This was quite honestly my best stay in Wildwood and all at an incredible price.

This hotel is by far the nicest hotel in Wildwood Crest . Everything is very clean and well taken care of .The balconies are totally private. The location is perfect to the boardwalk and beach . We have been visiting Wildwood for over 30 years and the last few years were unable to stay at this hotel since it was fully booked. We stayed at a few other hotels and even though they were nice none of them were anywhere near comparison to the Adventurer Ocean Inn. We highly recommend staying here on your next visit just book far in advance.

Just got back from a short last minute stay at the Adventurer and had an amazing time. We have not stayed in Wildwood since the 1990’s so we were unsure where to stay and booked the Adventurer based on recommendations from friends and location. We booked a room E-Oceanfront that had once room with two beds, kitchenette and a living space with a pull out couch. Location for the hotel is perfect as it is right across the street from the entrance to the boardwalk and super close to the tram so that we could walk the boards and take the tram back. The room had just enough space for our party of 5 ( 3 adults and 2 children). The bathroom had a small shampoo and soap as well as hand soap and a few disposable cups. There was a bin for wet towels to be placed. The kitchenette was stocked with plates, cups, silverware, drip coffee maker and other kitchen items. They provided a dish towel and dish rag as well. The fridge and freezer were a good size to fit drinks and snacks. There was a table and chairs for 6, a pullout couch and chair with foot rest. The balcony had two chairs and a great view. The pool is heated with plenty of loungers, a few chairs and complimentary towels. We saw them checking and cleaning the pool in the morning and checking the water in the afternoon. There is a second floor sun deck with lots of loungers and some couches, a fire pit and a bar seating area with tv. Underneath is also a large screened seating area with two TVs, ice machine, some drink vending machines and plenty of space to sit. There is parking around the hotel and underneath. It is a little tight underneath if you have a large SUV but thats to be expected. There are luggage carts available and elevator access in the garage. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast one day and the food was good and service very friendly and fast. They have omelets, waffles, pancakes and more. They serve lunch as well and are open 7-2 with indoor and outdoor seating. At check in they give you a card which serves as your do not disturb and you can mark it each day for what housekeeping items you need ( towels, tissues, toilet paper, shampoo, etc) and leave on your door. Housekeeping will leave those items in a bag at your door in the morning. Our room was very clean as was the common areas. One day as we were heading to the beach we saw housekeeping wiping down the hallway baseboards! All the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. Across the street is a bike rental and small deli that has many provisions you may need. Within walking distance on the boardwalk are stores, food places, DQ, tram office and an arcade. There are two entrances to the beach that you can use. The lifeguard stand is almost in front of the hotel, two port a potties are close by in the beach and a food place ( in a shipping container). We were very happy with our stay and the kids have already asked if we can go back and we will for sure stay here again.

Great hotel. Amazing staff and amazing rooms. The cost is what you would expect for the area. The TV in our room could use a major upgrade (it was very small) but not sure how many people watch TV while vacationing.

This is a beautiful well- designed venue. The sound system was excellent . The jazz trio was very good but the crowd was sparse. Traditional jazz is not popular with vacationers in Wildwood Crest.
