Awesome playground for a wide variety of ages. The main feature is a large ship climber. It has nets, ladders, slides, and mist cannons that kids can fire. There is also a more traditional climber set for younger kids. Other play features include a flowing stream-pool for kids to walk through, swings, and a sand play space. There are lots of benches for parents and shaded picnic tables. The playground is borders by a stream (separated by fencing) and there are viewing decks. Public bathrooms are also clean and conveniently placed. Great place for kids to run around!
This place has a gated playground. In this playground they have a pirate ship, swings, ponds with turtles and maybe an alligator.
One of the best parks we’ve visited. It’s well thought and put together. Great space for kids to play and for parents to relax.
Favorite playground my kids have been to (ages 3 and 5), this place was great! Everything is so new, the park itself is beautiful and has a lot of different sections. Mister cannons, swings, pond, teeter totter, slides, obstacles and more. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Hilton Head.
Very well designed playground with bathrooms. Main playground structure designed after The Adventure, the ship of Captain William Hilton for whom Hilton Head is named. There is a separate adjacent playground structure for toddlers and preschoolers. Swings and spring riders are also spread out throughout. Adventure Playground is also adjacent to the Sandbox Children's Museum.
This place still has the new smell. The water features are not on yet (not when we went). But looking at where the water is going to be in some spots this place looks like it will be awesome. With this park comes an update to the way you drive into the “old” parking lot. Please pay attention when driving as there are and will be more children in the parking lots. There is a little fitness trail. About 4-6 workout machines. Really neat. They are all working off your own body weight. The kids loved it. The ship is large enough for children of all ages to play even adults playing with their own children. The restrooms were clean. The buildings around or near the playground were not open yet and I do not have information as to what will be going there. We will come here as often as we can and as often as it is not crowded.
Fantastic adventure land playground located near the center of Hilton head Island. Safe with lots of activities for children of all ages.
This is the coolest playground I've ever been to. My 1 year old loved coming here (twice) and playing in the stream, climbing the playground and pointing out the turtles in the lagoon. Will 100% bring him back next visit to HHI.
