I stayed two nights in the Small Room. It was comfortable, clean and as they advertised it. It’s a very small room, but they tell you that in the description. But, despite it being small it has everything you need - a portable AC unit, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. The bathroom is full stocked with toiletries. The only downside is that because of the portable AC unit you can hear road noise. But, I did not hear my neighbors. The location is great. I was able to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants with no problem. I would absolutely stay here again.
Found Adventure Lodge on expedia and was pleasantly surprised with the communication between management. Coincidentally, as we pulled in to park, we received a call offering a free upgrade, which we appreciated as we drove from Michigan and the extra comfort hit the spot. Walking into the room was very clean, homey, and inviting. From the reading nook to the bathroom, the details are very aesthetic and gives that welcoming vibe. The location is a plus as well; walked over to one of the suggestions in the 'Guest Book' and it did not disappoint. Again, very appreciative of the hospitality here and will definitely be rebooking on our way back to Michigan!
Watch out, check your cc bill! they will charge you for any wear and tear without notice. charged to my credit card without notice for some supposedly damaged items. We definitely didn't damage anything, and if anything, it was already damaged and we didn't notice. After some emails were answered and some were ignored, I got some pictures of proof after 3 weeks. Looked like the towel holder was ripped out of the drywall. obviously very poorly mounted and definitely destined to fail. If you stay here, get ready to be charged for any wear and tear.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Adventure Lodge last night. Perfectly located within walking distance to many great eats and shops.
The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. ROKU TV, WiFi.
I would definitely recommend the Adventure Lodge to my closest friends and family.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Adventure Lodge. The location is excellent and the new managers were very friendly and helpful. This is the perfect central place for many adventurers!
Location is prime! Was able to walk to all of the restaurants and shops at the Heavenly base, and went out at the casinos one of the nights and could walk both ways. Cute and yummy sushi place right across the street with a cool bar. Room was updated, warm, and had everything we needed. Would stay again!
It's a great compact place and modernly redesigned. It was clean and quiet. I would definitely consider staying there again. The lodge has free parking on site, although it could be pretty full on busy seasons. It's just a few minutes drive to the lake, stores, visiting center.
It was an amazing place to stay. Super cozy! I would definitely recommend staying here again!

The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great.

Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
