Not the newest property but it was a great little place to sleep and keep our stuff which is exactly what we wanted and for half the price as chain hotels the same week at that. Rooms were clean. Staff was super friendly and the location was perfect. No issues at all. Would definitely stay again.
How in the world did the Adventure Inn get a 4.5 rating??? My wife and I stayed there from August 27th through September 2nd, 2024. We chose this hotel based on the high reviews and reasonable rates. First the pictures shown on their website had to have been taken years ago. It is far, far more run down than shown. Our room was barely usable. The carpet was filthy and covered with stains. There was no dresser in our room, one of the two chairs in the room was falling apart, and I had to keep working with the toilet to get the tank to refill. As to the friendly staff, the guy behind the check in counter and some of the staff were total jerks. You may wonder why we did not leave. Well we prepaid for the room and there was a rally in town so everything was pretty much booked up. Yes we did save some money by staying at the Adventure Inn but I would have happily spent $100 more per night to stay somewhere nice. Oh, I forgot to mention the parking. Even though it was a motorcycle rally and most spots had two or more bikes parked in them, parking was hard to find. One last thing, the Adventure Inn is located in a sketchy part of town. Do yourself a big favor and stay at one on the nice hotels in Durango.
I stayed here during a Southwest road trip with a friend, my first time staying in Durango. The location is right along the main street through town, toward the north end of town. The staff at the check-in counter was very friendly and helpful. It looks like a somewhat older place but it was clean and nicely kept-up. We had a large room, with parking right out front, and the room included a fridge/freezer, microwave, large TV, table with two chairs. There was no coffeemaker in the room but good coffee (though no other breakfast items) was available in the motel lobby in the morning. My bed was comfortable and there was less noise from outside than I expected, with the motel being on the main street. I thought it was pretty good value for the price. Overall I was very happy with my stay here and I'd consider staying at the Adventure Inn again.
We stayed here one night on our way to Silverton and we were very pleased with the cleanliness! They had a great price, comfortable beds, great AC and hot water. Staff was super friendly and even gave recommendations on best places to eat! We will definitely be back when traveling through Durango.
This place in Durango was wonderful. Upon check in the front desk folks were very kind. In fact our entire overnight experience in Durango was beautiful. The rooms are accommodating with refrigerators, desk and chairs. WiFi is good here. They’re a friendly place to stay and very helpful with great recommendations to eat.
I had stayed here 12 years ago and loved it. Reviews are still good so decided to stay here again. The room is just kind of small and older and the bed wasn't comfy. It was a lot I think $153 though Durango is probably on the expensive side. It's okay just not modern at all.
This place must have been considered quite upscale in the 50s! They have updated everything possible though solid construction means some things can’t change. It was quiet in the evenings even though located on the main drag. My one complaint was that the fridge didn’t really get cold. The room was very clean. Oh and great towels! Durango is quite expensive so I was glad to find this placed - I would stay here again.
If I could give Adventure Inn Motel six stars ⭐️ I certainly would. besides being very clean and well-maintained, a great location with reasonable rates, what makes this motor inn 6 stars ⭐️ is the manager named Zac.
He is such a great ambassador for the Adventure Inn 🏨…… Made me feel right at home, was very accommodating and shared several tips about Durango and current events.
