I had the best experience possible at my recent stay in the hospital. The emergency staff was amazing in their quick response and thorough exam. The nurses, doctors and staff on the floor were incredible - caring, thoughtful and constantly checking on me to be sure I was comfortable and to see if I needed anything. Even the staff that took me for testing in a wheelchair was very pleasant, friendly, and courteous. The techs that performed each test, took blood, etc. explained everything and were as gentle and kind as possible. Even the ladies that took my food orders were friendly and accommodating and very nice. I have nothing but good to say about the whole experience.

Had an out patient procedure done. Donna Morgan and Marti were my care team. So many others that I couldn't even name! Wonderful experience. Very caring group of professionals.

Not a good experience today. I came in for two biopsies on my breast, due to findings on repeated mammograms, and ultrasounds. Prepped for first biopsy. Dr came in and said , I’m not seeing anything abnormal , so we’re done here. Tells me I can come back in 6 months to prove him right. On to second biopsy, prepped, numbed, and sitting in a very uncomfortable position. Same Dr. comes up and proceeds to do biopsy. Nothing happening? Whispering, and then says it was a device failure. Supervisor came in called for help with the problem. Dr. left the room with no acknowledgment, and slammed the door. 30 minutes later, I was told sorry, you will have to come back after the machine is repaired. I stated I didn’t know if I was coming back. I have lost my confidence in that Dr. And I want a second opinion. From the minute I was brought back, I had a bad vibe. Have had many tests there with no problem. But today was different. Bad experience for sure. Dorothy Hummell

I recently gave birth at waterman and while the situation wasn’t ideal (early, induction, issues) it was an amazing experience due to the care of the doctors and nurses. I was so impressed by the attentiveness and gentleness of the staff. They respected my wishes, never tried to push anything on me, and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. Once my baby arrived they gave her the same care and gentleness I received. I’m so grateful for them- teaching me everything I needed to know about taking care of my first baby. I left with a lot more confidence than I went in with.

Advent Health Waterman is one of the finest hospital experiences I’ve ever had. The staff is beyond personable, professional, kind, patient and friendly. They go above and beyond their duties to make sure every patient is comfortable. I’m not just talking about the administrative or medical staff, doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, etc. I’m also talking about the housekeeping staff. They are proficient, respectful, very kind and accommodating.

I was in the orthopedic surgery suite on 6th south. It was the most amazing care I have received. They took care of me like I was one of their own. The post-surgery teams are incredible. This is unfortunately my second trip to this suite. I can't imagine ever receiving better care anywhere.

Been in the emergency room since 2:30 am with my husband having severe back pain. We got put in a room he got a iv put in they took blood and they left. Left the blood in the room. Here we are over 3 hours later and the nurse comes in for the first time only because we hit the button. Several times I opened the door to look and no one was on the floor or at the desks. When the nurse comes in it's a different nurse then when we got here. She didn't know anything about my husband having a iv she said she was giving him a patch on his back to help this severe pain and a shot in the arm. No doctor has even been in. We need them to figure out what is wrong. We could've thrown a patch on his back at home. Then the nurse tells us he won't be seen until shift change then sees the blood and goes "oh who took blood" then proceeds to tell us they might not even need it. No one is on the same page here. So who was the doctor at 2 am when we got here or was there no doctor until this morning? I don't get it. My husband can't lay on his back or his sides due to the pain. He asked to try and sit up a little and the nurse walks over hands him his remote and leaves. Doesn't even bother to help lift the bed some. This is a freaking joke. They are sitting here collecting thousands of dollars for what? To lay in a uncomfortable bed and freeze. Should've just stayed home if that's the case

The ER was packed when I arrived. I had multiple complications going on at the time. However they were able to get me processed in a timely manner and unfortunately I was admitted but everything was remedied within 3 days. The ER docs are really good, 👍 and very professional as well. The hospital staff and doctors were able to streamline my issues in short order. Great teamwork on all their parts.
