First time visiting the WRPD Training Center for Citizens Day at the range. This option is available to the public every 3rd Saturday of the month. You pay and nominal $5 fee, sign a waiver, and off you go! The setup is pretty basic (a lane and a target) and free of amenities but absolutely meets the needs of someone looking to do some outdoor plinking. You are simply required to be safe and police (pun unintentional) your brass. Hours: 0800-1200 and, then, 1300-1700. Lastly, if you go to the web page, you MAY get the impression that the location is at 700 Watson Blvd... it is not. I was on a hamster wheel about 15 minutes before going into the Law Enforcement Center (Watson blvd) and getting instructions to 208 Stalneker. Take 247 to Industrial Park blvd (between Northrup Grumman and Stalker ) follow that to Stalker , hook a right and contuine to WRPD Training Center...located just left of Animal Control.

Place to get training without all the workplace interruptions. Close to lots of restuarants, a gas station convenience store, hotels, and a grocery store.
