A lot of the 5 star reviews on here are from management that either still works there or used to and haven't changed their review. I worked for about a year and can only recommend to stay far away from this place. If you need a quick buck do training and then quit before you take any live calls.

I applied for the company because of the offer of the hybrid (2 days in office 3 days at home) schedule. I have MS and I thought it would help me feel useful to earn money but only have to commute a couple of days a week. I was promised that after 6 weeks of training, the schedule would change to the hybrid. Training was an ABSOLUTE JOKE. 4 weeks of power points with very little training on the systems and then we were thrown into the production floor working live accounts with virtually no training on systems. Managers and floor walkers had the attitude of "sink or swim". If you weren't favorite, you could forget getting a straight answer to questions. You could bet on being talked to like you were stupid for asking questions. I personally witnessed a floor walker make a young woman cry in front of everybody for messing something up. When training finally ended our 26 people that came out of the class were told that 2 people a week would be chosen to change to hybrid. You do the math on how long it would take for all of us to get to the hybrid schedule that we were promised. Also, it was held over our heads that if production went down or scores weren't up to par, your privilege to work from home would be taken away. The last thing is that I did have to call in during an MS flare up. I was laughed at and made to feel like an invalid BY MY DIRECT SUPERVISOR AND HIS BOSS. I just wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear. In closing, avoid avoid AVOID!! Awful place with a toxic atmosphere. Don't listen to their promises. It's the most unprofessional job I've had in 20+ years in the workforce.

Horrible place to work! After 3 years the same pay, ungrateful management and selfish bosses! Pay raise and PTO needs to be “begged for” ! Force everyone work in office per policy , but it’s all about for additional bonus for upper management not supervisors or agents!! HR never reply till high management will give them directions how to treat agents!! People please please please run!!!

their a lot of nice people here, but it's a call center, and it's employees owned, and they have a way to go to make it better employees' own company.

This is a great place to work. The management team is dedicated to taking care of its employees. On my third week working the site manager and the floor manger both gave me their business card with their company cell phone and they expected me to use it to contact them. When I found out i was needed at home to perform hospice care for my aged Dad the prepared the equipment and permission levels I would need to work from home. They even gave me a few extra days of to grieve and prepare my fathers funeral. You treat them fairly and do what they ask and they will return the favor.

ACT is a great place to work for with flexible schedules, great pay and benefits. Extremely accommodating and has so much room for advancements. Hard work never goes unrecognized, and you always have support and guidance from your supervisor which is vital in helping you grow and advance. We are always provided sufficient time to completed weekly and yearly trainings when needed. I would say hands down one of the best places I have had the opportunity to work for.

I recognize there are many negative reviews from the past, but that is not ACT currently or in the future. This employee-owned company is on an upward trajectory and improving every day. There is room to improve at every company and ACT is working hard to do it. I supervise training and can recommend you take a look!

Very secure job with amazing management and flexible scheduling. Benefits available and a competitive but supportive workspace. Great coworkers, but if your in office bring a blanket. They're very good at recognizing their employees as human beings .
