Adobe Resort, Yachats - Resort hotel in Yachats - 1555 Hwy 101 N, USA

This is an old hotel with a recent face lift that's very refreshing. I've been staying at this hotel for 16 years whenever I'm in town to visit. Their newly remodeled lobby is very inviting and for the first time in 16 years, I saw several people relaxing in this area.|I stayed in a king room and the mattress was a little too firm for me but it may be perfect for someone else. I appreciated the ample supply of pillows and the room itself was clean and spacious. Their little in room refrigerator has a small freezer space to it was nice to really chill my water bottles. |The food was delicious. We had dinner there one night, dessert the 2nd night & breakfast before I left. It was all quite good except one dish had burnt toast. The service all three times was great.|My greatest disappointment was that there wasn't a screen on the window. When I opened the window I let in two flies. I really wanted to sleep with the window opened but when I asked for a screen, they said they didn't have any due to a wind storm. |I'd like to give 3.5 stars but 4 (Very Good) isn't my honest opinion...so average + for the refreshing remodel, great service & food.

I know this resort gets criticism for not being more glossy and fancy. But I haven't ever stayed in a room where I rolled over in bed and stared at surf crashing into the rocks right outside my window. The location is extraordinary and I don't say that lightly. And the remodeled rooms are fine. Shower worked great. Room was clean and large. There were plugins and reading lights by the bed and it wasn't noisy (except for the surf which was amazing). We had two lovely meals at the restaurant and my kids loved the pool. I love walking the 804 and then spending hours on the beach. Maybe if you are a fancy schmancy type and want perfectly appointed rooms, then Adobe is not for you. But if you love the ocean and good food and kind staff, then this place is perfect. The room was large & bed comfortable. Bathroom small. Some updating but could use more for the price charged. The view from the lounge was excellent and the trail along coastline beautiful. Someone walking room above all night and during the day sounded like a ball rolling. Told front desk the last day & they said no dog above. Dog hair on chairs on balcony but room clean. Light coming in from door to hallway. Thought it was oceanfront but view not full. Enjoyed sound of ocean.

We just had our wedding at the Adobe and I couldn’t be happier. Every little hiccup in the wedding planning was handled quickly and professionally. The view was incredible, the reception hall was set up beautifully, and the food was phenomenal! I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Anthony and Samantha had to take over day of coordination last minute and they both ensured the day ran smoothly. The head chef was incredible and so kind - the food was to die for! The kitchen manager and every single person we interacted with was so kind and helpful. They each went out of their way to relieve some of our stress in both the set up process and during the ceremony and Reception. Our rooms were beautiful and spacious. Our honeymoon suite had the most incredible ocean view. We can’t wait to return in the future with so many beautiful memories!

Had a wonderful week. Thanks to Candy for giving us a great room. Loved the remodel; lobby is awesome, food in the bar was great, but please, please, please remove the pool table it is very loud and distracting while trying to talk. In it's place put a couple more lounge chairs and a sofa for a more comfortable relaxing bar area.

What a lucky find! While my husband and I were on our no plans exploration vacation on the coast, a completely random google search that day led me to the Adobe Resort and beautiful Yachats. I called and spoke with Vera, and that was when I knew - just speaking with her confirmed this was the right choice for our stay that night. Vera was informative, patient, funny and caring. She hooked us up with one of the best views and room in the hotel and it could not have been more perfect. Thank you Vera! And all we had to do was go downstairs for a fantastic dinner. The linguine with clams was probably the best and freshest I've had in 30 years. We will definitely be back.

This is an older resort, but you can't beat the location and it's recently had a make over. We enjoyed our ocean front room. The king was super comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, it was clean and quiet -- except for the roar of the waves which put us to sleep every night.

I just had my Wedding at the Adobe! Adrienne was my wedding coordinator and she was wonderful! Our honeymoon suite was beautiful and so clean! Christian, the chef is amazing and our food was delicious! Everyone including waitresses and front desk staff were wonderful! We'll be back!
