Service was really good at this hotel since our reservation accidentally had a day added and the manager reversed the charge with no issues. But, the bed was super soggy and rolled around easily. The hot tub is nice as it is outdoors but has no jets so basically a tepid bathtub. The shower was decent but the shampoo and shower gel left you wishing you had purchased your own. But for a couple nights it was decent enough.
Nice staff, room was relatively clean, but the room was not ready when we arrived at 3pm. Had to wait an hour so we drove into town and walked around to kill the time. Good thing they had coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave but no breakfast in the morning. Ig was just a one night stay before we hit the road back to Abq NM.
It is an older building. It does need some improvement. No carpet, new laminate flooring.

The night attendant gentleman was very accommodating. We had large vehicles and a trailer. He helped us park and reserved the space for our friend arriving with the trailer.
We didn't required room cleaning but the cleaning lady was very nice.
We didn't use the hot tub but there was other guests enjoying it.
It is in a good location close to the historic area and to the train depot. Walking distance to restaurants.
I’ve stayed at this place a few times over the last 15 years and despite efforts to update bathrooms and the like, it’s very old and dated. The mattress was old and I could feel the pressure points of the springs, the tub was dirty, the AC had layers of dust and a light saying filter needed cleaned. You could hear everything. No fan in the bathroom so you had to open a window. It’s a place that seems like it’s on its last legs and caters mostly to the forestry fire crew guys
Positive: Location in downtown was very convenient. Comfortable bed and generally quiet for good sleep. Negative: Awkward layout where furniture covered outlets and light switches. Expensive for a 2.5 star hotel.
Although all of the staff is friendly and amazing - don’t be fooled, for 50$ a night you get what you pay for. Come into the experience with the expectation that your sheets, blankets, and pillow cases are not washed. I have worked in hotels the majority of my life- as soon as I enter a hotel I conduct a 12 point inspection for my safety, and this is what I found. The spreadsheet had not been washed, there was fresh stains on it & hair as well. The mattresses do not have mattress covers which I have never seen before. When I lifted the sheet the mattress was massively stained. There was multiple pillow cases that had other peoples hair on it which indicates that they haven’t been washed. On the windowsill in the rest room there was numerous dead bugs which could mean the hotel has an ongoing infestation - lastly, I don’t consider this a safe hotel. I have never been to an overnight establishment that did not require identification verification to stay. Not only was my ID and debit card never checked at check in but it was never verified the next day at check out either. I’d advise management to update this procedure as it could lead to credit card theft and the allowing of potentially harmful people staying here. My consensus on this hotel is that it’s a cheap place for passerby travel & not a good place for families nor singular women travelers. Be advised that the price seen online is true, just don’t expect your stay to be similar to large branches or established names.

The room was very dirty and they have BED BUGS do not stay here unless you want bed bugs biting you all night! Me and my husband have bites all over from this hotel and the manager Sharon and the owner were very very rude and refused to give us a refund! And refused to get professionals to inspect the room for bed bugs and said that “they just checked themselves and didn’t see any” don’t not stay here!
