It's an older building with no elevator, the beds are small but at least have a privacy curtain which is a plus. Front desk ladies are great. There is one grumpy dude who was cleaning the kitchen and slammed the door when I asked to go in because I had groceries to drop off.
Meh, the Website pictures aren't up to date.
No good breakfast if you don't have your own stuff.
The rooms are basic and alright.
Still wouldn't recommend it.
Very lovely hostel with a nice living room.
Rooms are big and with a sink and boards at the bottom of the bed to keep your things safe.
Bed mattress is a bit old and you feel the bounces + a odd smell which I believe comes from the carpet on the floor.
Breakfast is super nice and wide options, included in the booking.
Despite this, I have felt so comfortable there.
Not a good value for the money. No breakfast or free towel. No traveler culture most inhabitants were not visitors. Not the cleanest hostel either.
It's a typical hostel: a little run down, but made with thoughts about users, which is the most important: good planning, plenty of room, curtains on beds, big kitchen.
The personnel is very friendly and answers all requests. Overall, can't really complain much. Just note that it's not shiny place like those you can find in Iceland or south America.
The location is quite good, although now I think you can find hostel with a view in San Francisco
Nice Hostel with very friendly staff. Central location and area felt safe. Only a short walk from the BART. Free breakfast between 7-10am is definitely very good. They also had a free pizza night during my stay. Bunk Beds are comfortable and very private as they all have curtains. I’m my room down stairs they are built out of solid timber so you don’t feel your bunk buddy moving around. Only downside about my room down stairs was it very stuffy some nights.
I think you get what you pay for. This place works a little more like a “mission” for the destitute rather than a hostel. The smell is terrible and the people is worse. I don’t blame the owners completely, though, but I didn’t even stay for a single night - I was fearful for my health and valuables and o ran straight out of the place and went to a decent hotel just around the corner.
As a hostel experience, perfect.||The bunks in the big dorm are all enclosed with curtains for total privacy. The place is kept clean, no bugs. Lovely lounge to hang out in with plenty of ports for your electronics to charge. Best of all, though, is the staff. All the front of house staff seemed like genuinely lovely people with big smiles and great senses of humor.

I recently stayed at Samesun San Francisco and had a fantastic experience! The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel's prime location made it convenient to access all the main attra
HIT is not really my thing, nor is working out just for the sake of working out, but this team is rocking it. They've gotten me to come back more times than I thought I would and that's a credit to their energy and encouragement â¤ï¸

The Neighborhood Tour with Lisa was so useful in our search for a home in SF. She listened to all our requests for the characteristics of the property we were looking for, as well as our preferred locations. We knew nothing of the city coming into th
