My family of 4 ate here for the first time. The family style plate was plenty of food and so good! The waiter and waitress were so helpful and polite. The music was enjoyable, not too loud, so we could have easy conversation. The restaurant decorations are beautiful as well.
There isn’t anything I can’t say wasn’t delicious. Literally everything tasted amazing. We had Blaze as our waiter and he’s top notch. We had sambusa, both collard greens and beef. The sauce was amazing with that. We also tried “the world,” and everything on that plate was delicious. I don’t eat a lot of meat, and I couldn’t get enough. My husband usually prefers meat, but he loved all the veggies dishes. The Kings Bread Pudding was very delicious and the coffee just amplified its deliciousness. We will definitely be going back and sure hope we get Blaze again.
I probably don’t have an Ethiopian palate so my 3 star review will sound harsh. Note: no AC so they opened the door. The server was nice but didn’t remember my drink. It’s fine. Several pick up orders but the dining area had only 3 tables filled so not sure if it is due to the lack of AC or just not busy in general — possibly due to a Saints preseason game. As for food, it reminds me vegan style where they heavily lean on sugars to give their food flavor. I appreciate the cultural aspect but everything was just…food. The chicken was a little dry. The gaminess of the lamb is fine but my friend didn’t like it. Overall, the food is simply food. Flavors were neutral. One thing had spice. I didn’t bother to learn what I ate bc nothing impressed. I think if you are vegan, you probably will like it. Nice place. Nice ppl. Food was just food. I ordered one $60-70 platter for two, enough for 4 people. With included 20% tip, the meal was short of $90.
I can’t say enough how incredible the food was here! The service is also, by far, the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. Literally feel like family the second you walk in the door. You can’t miss this place if you are in NOLA.
Our sever Blaze was awesome. The food was worth the 30-minute walk from our airbnb. Brunch was very tasty I had the scramble others had the lunch, we were all happy with our choices. We all ended up buying their spicy blends. We also lucked out and got to see a second line around the corner after.
5s across the board, and seriously AMAZING service for someone with Celiac disease who needs to be gluten free. Only one item on the entire menu has gluten (don’t let this deter you), and the structure of the family style meals makes it SO welcoming for a celiac to join in with everyone else and share the same food and experience. I’ll remember this place for a long long time!
Best brunch I’ve ever had hands down! I was with a group of four and we ordered the shrimp tibs and grits, glazed chicken and waffles, afrotoast, jollof with lamb, and the blueberry waffle.
This place is always a GOOD vibe. Great staff, food, and music were on point. It was an awesome night for a relaxing dinner after a long week. We started with Beef Sambusa. Then Lamb Wot with Ayib on the side, that will never disappoint any tastebuds. We even tried a new dish Mar Mitmita Shrimp with rice, and it was delicious. Kings' bread pudding was fabulous, too, with a delicious rum sauce (not a caramel sauce like other places). Can't wait to return.
I dropped into CF NOLA regularly for 7 weeks in the Spring of 2022. They were incredibly accommodating, kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. The coaching staff was excellent, the members treated me as family, and the facility was clean, well stocked, a
Wonderful experience! Enjoyed brunch on Christmas Eve and had a great time. Nathanâs personality, attentiveness and overall hospitality was much appreciated! 5 star service and we look forward to future dining experiences!
Cutest gem in New Orleans. Tarra's Body Pump class at Fit Therapy was truly exceptional. Her dedication to educating the class was evident, creating an atmosphere that left me amazed. She was remarkably attentive, making the overall experience both e
We had such a wonderful time staying at The Inn. We were greeted by our wonderful host⦠I mean warden. Todd was great and walked us around the jail, showing us where everything was. He had great suggestions for where to eat and shop. The kitchen ha
I joined Krewe just a few weeks ago and it is the best decision Iâve ever made for my heath. Everyone there is so kind and genuine. The coaches are all 10/10s. They are so patient and donât make you feel like a burden if you have to go over somet
I am a 14 year old whoâs been working out here for about a year, and I absolutely love it. Many different, high quality machines, great community, amazing staff, and almost every quality about this gym is perfect. The personal trainers are great an
This was one of my favorite museums during my visit. I learned so much. Didn't know about the free People of Color in Louisiana. Imagine if they had been allowed to thrive... how different America would be today.
Best coffee. Best staff. Best location! Newer coffee shop that is above and beyond what has been available in the area before now. Locally owned and operated. Queer inclusive. Something about this spot makes you leave feeling like your battery is
Great class and I definitely recommend!! Stopped in as a ClassPass user and will definitely make this a regular workout. The class size was smaller than Iâm used to at 11 but the space was very homey and accommodating. The instructor was clear and
Of all the trees in City Park the McDonough Oak is likely the oldest and the most majestic. The huge branches have sagged to the ground under their own weight and over time. This tree stood in an ancient forest on this spot long before Europeans arri
