This restaurant is a treasure!! Visually lovely and the cuisine is delicious! Our server Halie, was very friendly and attentive. We were on our way back to Houston and stopped here---so glad we did! The lamb meatballs, vertical pear salad & Steak Diane were fabulous. If you are passing through, this is a must stop.
We stopped over for the night on the way to Dallas and were looking for a great place to relax and have a nice dinner. The menu looked great so we decided to try it. Super cute downtown location! Upon being seated our friendly server informed us that many menu items were unavailable because they were out of many ingredients. First bad sign. We ordered the Vertical Pear Salad, Chicken Piccata, and the Lobster Risotto. I have to say they were all very underwhelming. Maybe they were having an off night but for the price I was expecting way more bang for the buck. The restaurant is very small with a cozy, nice feel, but the food leaves much to be desired in my opinion.
The food was first class, and the service was excellent! If you are paying through or live in Corsicana, this is a must stop!
We had a WONDERFUL date night. Our server was excellent, as was the maple pecan baked brie, maple leaf duck breast, and wine selection! Elegant yet cozy atmosphere. Thanks, Andreas! It was just what we needed :)
I have been a regular visitor to Corsicana since I married a local girl many years ago. This was the most elegant and delicious meal we have had in Corsicana. Sirloin steak for me, risotto for the lovely wife. Escargot to start. All the food was top notch and the service was genuine hospitality and wonderful. Check out the menu and prices before you go. We stumbled across this place while in town for a High School Basketball game. The ratings and reviews were great so the girls and I decided to try it out. We never stop in Corsicana just drove through. Today was the day to not only enjoy the game, but get a bite to eat. From the time we walked into the restaurant to the time we left we had a great time. Deena our server who only works Wednesday nights was the best. She was attentive and very thoughtful. It was cold and catered to us by finding us a spot near the heater. The chef Andreas and his wife Heather were so nice, they set the tone for the restaurant. The mood was amazing, the music was wonderful, and the food was to die for. I never ate lamb meatballs before and I must say they were tender and tasteful. My crabcakes were great. The homemade humus was the best. This is a new, "Must Do Again", on my "To Do" list.
Been here a couple times. First time was great! Last night was horrendous. Ordered chicken picatta and it came out looking like chicken noodle soup. Asked about the lacking capers and was told the chef said they were out. What a joke.
My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner at the Bistro. The service was top notch. We both enjoyed our steaks and thought the lobster macaroni and cheese was delicious. We will definitely go back for drinks and dinner on a special occasion.
