Dog park, skate park and open fields for kicking a ball around. Spring, summer, and fall there's a farmers market. Only thing that could make it better is lighting for after dark.
Wonderful dog park, but it does need regular maintenance and upkeep from the City.
Just went to the dog park which was pretty good. One section for all dogs. Great for summer in Charleston though as it’s mostly shaded. It does get pretty muddy after a storm though and can get crowded at peak times.
The Wednesday community Farmers Market is a very nice evening activity -- music, fresh fruits/vegetables, breads, pickles, crafts, etc.
The pros are there is parking and a nice view. Unfortunately, you cannot get very far without having to cross a major, heavily trafficked road. This is a good trail to go for a short walk, but not a good trail for runners.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time at the West Ashley Farmer's Market on Wednesday afternoon. Weather was great and the local vendors were plentiful. We shopped with several of them and will be back!

Another community garden with community gathering areas taken care by the Charleston Parks Conservancy. The shade structure catches and stores rainwater to water the garden beds. So smart! Highly recommend a visit or stroll to get out in nature!

We used this for a party- had a blast! It had so many activities and even outdoor area. The bartenders were great and so friendly. The space was not only fun but beautiful. Would highly recommend for a party.
