I got the Garlic Shrimp, Husband got the Carnitas Nachos, 8 year old son got the Quesadilla, and 12 year old got the side of rice a beans. Absolutely loved it, off the path a bit but so great, and the nicest sweetest hostess helped us. Would go again!
Can’t say enough about this place. Just great.
My order is two carne asada tacos and I make it a plate. My bf gets their burrito. Everything is just so good. I’ve had a decent amount of Mexican food on the island and this is my fave.
Fun ‘hole in the wall’ authentic, delicious and unique experience with amazingly friendly service.
I really enjoy finding out of the way places to eat, made to order, real food from owners and employees who really enjoy what they do.
I went alone and ordered Ceviche. It was delicious, fresh and beautifully done.
There are a few tables inside but more outside. Not even close to fine dining BUT we’ll worth trying for the fun ambience.
I loved watching the enthusiasm and genuine care given to every customer coming through the door, even the delivery of your food and checking back to make sure everything is okay.
I will definitely return and have already recommended to several friends!
BYOB, no bathrooms, limited parking on the street.
It was my 1st time to eat at this local cafe .
The staff were friendly. The fish tacos that I ordered were abundant with fresh ingredients.
$5.95 per tacos, and I ordered 3 tacos . If you ordered plate tacos, it's an extra $5.00, which include Mexican rice and beans.
Wow! So glad we found this place, it was so good! Fish tacos were amazing, but I have to say I was most impressed with the Chile Verde tacos…best I’ve ever had. This place is legit, cannot recommend it more. Do yourself a favor and make sure to check this out, you will not be disappointed.
Everything was truly terrific. This little local restaurant has a great family feel and the employees seem to really care about their product. We found this place on accident and we’re so glad we did. The burritos were outrageously good and the flan was so fresh and you could tell it was made with love. We’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Aloha, everyone. This restaurant offers a good variety of Mexican food choices and they're all delicious, I've eaten most of them. Lol. They cook everything fresh daily.
The shrimp ceviche on a crispy tostada is very good. The taste of shrimp and seafood with added sauce on top is light and delicious, makes for a nice light lunch item. The other taco is an Asada taco served on warm corn tortillas with cabbage and cilantro, equally delicious. This is real down home Mexican food, I think the best on the island. I like how the hot sauces that are offered have a nice heat to them. There are other tacos I've tried, so far everything is very good and tasty. You get a good amount of delicious cooked meat for your money. Any item can be made into a plate lunch by adding rice and beans, this is extra $ though. The rice and beans are very good, beans have a bit of cheese on top when served. Yum. Menudo is offered sometimes, best to call and check if available. The coconut flan is new, along with the other desserts they offer. They also sell banana bread 🍞. There's outdoor community seating and to go, (take away) and you can place your order online. Orlando Acevedo just branched out with a brand new Acevedo's Hawaiicano Food truck. It'll be up and around after the new year, so be looking for it around the island. These people are more than happy to customize your order to your liking. They only sell bottled soft drinks and water, no alcohol. I just always take a 🍺 beer, makes the food taste even better. Lol. So, if your looking for great Mexican food this is it! Maybe I'll see you there, cause I eat there a lot. 😋 Yummm
Food was absolutely amazing and so fresh. They prepare everything the morning of. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Service was amazing too and everyone was so kind! 10/10 would recommend!!

Stopped in here for lunch and was glad I did. The food coming out of the kitchen all looked good and fresh. All items are made to order so you will have a short weight before your food arrives. The service was exceptional. I don't know if it was the
Stopped at Faithful Grinds before our flight back home stateside. The place feels like a genuine neighborhood Hawaiian restaurant-no frills for decor but the food is FANTASTIC! I had the Kahlua pork & cabbage. Super tasty and beyond reasonable price.
Ventured here from our resort to buy a few bags of fresh beans for a friend. Located in the Home Depot parking lot by the airport, this little shack has drive through and walk up service. I got the chocolate chip banana bread and A New Orleans style
Love this park! But we always keep our slippers on because we have found broken glass here quite a few times. But even with that it still gets five stars. It's a great park! Just look around first.
Bathrooms were recently updated and much cleaner. T
This market was bigger than we expected! There were a great variety of vendors selling various art, produce, flowers, food, and much more. We loved walking around and looking at everything, and were happy to be able to shop local for some souvenirs.
First time at tin roof. This was our last meal before leaving Maui, and I was so stoked we found this place. By far the best meal on our trip. I would definitely recommend this place!!! Ahi tuna was off the chart! Garlic noodle was very flavorful
My wife is a huge coffee drinker. I prefer tea. We were both impressed with this coffee truck. My wife's best cup of coffee while we were in Maui was purchased here. She had the sugar-free raspberry and dark chocolate latte with almond milk. Of cours
For some reason tomatoes ð are extremely expensive in Maui. $4 for four. But at this market, it was only $4 for 10. I loaded up on fruits and vegetables. The golden pineapples were $3 here versus $8 in Kauai. They taste very fragrance and del
