Ace Hardware Grayslake - Hardware store in Grayslake - 945 E Belvidere Rd, USA

I stop here pretty frequently for craft projects. Always has a great selection, love working with the staff here, always very kind knows just where I should look for what I'm trying to get. Mark the other day personally showed me where to get some items and recommendations for others I wasn't sure about for a new project - I'll show everyone know how the mini-trebuchet goes when it's done so you know the materials were good :p

Avoid this location. I was totally taken off guard by terrible customer service with 3 different employees yesterday. Condescending, mean, no apology after screwing up an online order. After being a loyal customer for 11 years, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

They always have what I need! I don’t typically shop franchise or big box stores, but I always turn to Ace Hardware, especially in my area, because one family owns a handful of them, and they’re all in my area. I know I’m supporting a local family with my dollars and I get a common experience amongst all the stores…excellent! The employees are courteous and extremely helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience with anything. Grateful to still have a local store to shop in.

Propane tank fill up. Also a great place to hit up for odd and ends surprisingly that big box hardware doesn't carry.
