Ace Gillett's Lounge - Lounge in Fort Collins - 239 S College Ave, USA

The food was really tasty! I had the herb chicken and mashers. A bit of a limited menu however. The staff was friendly, but the service was a tad bit slower than I'd expected, but I did read that in another review. The atmosphere was nice with a DJ. Music was at a pleasant volume.

Not rating the food because we didn’t try the food. Drinks were amazing, and a special shout out to the bartending staff who created two mocktails on the fly! I’d love to come back for meal sometime.

We were looking forward to Tiki Thursday but it was a bit of a stretch… there were only 3 Tiki drinks- we had two and they were pretty good! It was our first time here and our whole experience took 2 hours… service was incredibly slow… even the couple next to us couldn’t believe how long it took to get checked in on. We ended up seeing another duo leave because they were never attended to except for some glasses of water. Our person attending to us was really nice but two hours for 3 drinks and two meals? My husband got the burger and was just okay. The person attending to us told him to not get it well done as it would be too chewy- he ordered it medium rare and it still came out well done lol. I had the grilled cheese and soup. The grilled cheese- it was beyond messy to eat. I know where they were going with it but putting the balsamic on the outside just doesn’t make sense. I will say that I have never been a fan of tots- but these were the most delicious tots I’ve ever had. The basil tomato soup was also one of my faves. We want to say that it was possibly an off night- and we may try once more. I will update if we go again

The bartenders are great, but the service was terrible at the tables. It was pretty busy so I’m willing to give them another chance. The piano and Dj playing is a nice touch and when the food and drinks finally came out I had no complaints. I’d recommend sitting at the Bar top for better service.

What a great place for date night cocktails. Lovely ambiance, beautiful seating areas, cozy couches and chairs. Service was excellent too. Would highly recommend and would return.

Great vibes and a cool place to go. The drinks were honestly phenomenal. I’m not really a picky eater and got the Elk burger. It was good! However, my criticism is it was overcooked after being suggested to get it medium rare. The bottom bun was taking a nice swim in sauce on the plate. I didn’t take a picture of it unfortunately because it just had sloppy joe vibes - I’m sorry y’all. All the staff was super nice but the service to table was just really slow. Not sure what the root cause is as it wasn’t so busy when we originally came in but could be delays with food or drink making? Maybe understaffed? Coming from a big city originally, I thought it was just us. But we waited really patiently for a burger, a grilled cheese meal, and two rounds of drinks with the total time being around or over 2 hours from sit down to getting the bill and leaving. A couple in the tables near us in our time there were also super antsy to get checked in on. Saw some ppl leave after getting just waters and waiting for a while. Definitely a growing opportunity as we would have spent more $ on drinks within that time frame. Honestly, it’s a gem of a place to hang and would still give it another chance some other time.

Where do I start? This was the BEST bar experience I’ve ever had. The staff (shoutout to Val and Benjamin) are so incredibly friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. We spent two nights at the hotel upstairs, which was perfect because we came in for drinks 3 times in the short 48 hours there. The menu is fantastic (food and drink). If you can, hangout at the bar and get to the know staff. Also, huge win that they have great music (live and DJ) in a beautiful setting. Thank you so much, everyone! We can’t wait to come back!
