By far, this specific Academy store is my favorite one..... it's centrally located and it always is well stocked.... the store organization is well planned and accessible.

We just bought the soccer clothing for grandson and 👍they had everything he needed.
They never have the most common shoe size in stock for almost anything. Very disorganized and it almost ruins your day walking in to not find what you're looking for. Very rare do I ever find what I'm looking and at that, the last one. Its Laredo, as if there are other actual sports and outdoors stores to even go to. I usually save this stuff for out of town trips where the competition and variety is way better

Good atmosphere and decent food. For those who don't want to eat at large almost fast-food like chains and prefer small traditional restaurants, in my opinion this is a good place.
