What a great Bed & Breakfast! We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. It was clean, spacious, had a comfortable bed and lots of natural lighting. The en-suite bathroom was also spacious and we enjoyed the new shower with multiple jets. The breakfast each morning in the picturesque dining area was delicious! My husband and I enjoyed every single dish we had, especially the daily specials. We also enjoyed the packed lunches to take with us one day, which Ralph and Anna had them ready for us in the morning before we left. Ralph and Anna are warm and welcoming, and offered tips for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor from a locals perspective. They care about the little things too like providing cookies and lemonade in the afternoon and grab and go umbrellas when it rained one day. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying here!

We had a fabulous stay at Acacia House Inn. The location is perfect as it’s a quick walk to great food (our favorites were Merchant & Frye, 2 Cats, and Jordan Pond Ice Cream) and nearby shops, while still being a quiet and private place to stay. In our opinion, the best part of staying here was the incredible food! Tea and coffee was always available. In the afternoon, there were the most delicious cookies and fresh squeezed lemonade. In the morning, there were homemade baked goods and breakfast made with local ingredients. Highlights included the double chocolate chunk cookies, shakshuka breakfast special, and Ralph’s homemade sourdough bread. We would definitely stay here again!

Just spent a few days with Ralph and Anna and they are such great hosts! Acacia House Inn has all kinds of New England charm and offers simply the most scrumptious breakfasts! It is located right off of the action with lots of the local stores and restaurants within walking distance so no need to hunt for an expensive parking space when wandering the village section of town. But yet, it is quiet and peaceful, just made for good sleeping! We were very delighted with the hospitality and accommodations and would highly recommend Acacia House Inn to anyone visiting the Bar Harbor area!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Acacia Inn! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The breakfasts served each morning were not only delicious but also a delightful way to start the day. The pastries prepared in the afternoons were a true highlight of our trip, and I must say, they might be the best I've ever had. Our room, Room 3, was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony was a lovely addition where we could unwind. The inn's perfect location, within walking distance to everything in town, made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Acacia Inn made our first trip to Maine memorable and leaves us wanting to come back soon!

Just spent a few days with Ralph and Anna and what great hosts they are! Absolutely scrumptious breakfasts, served with lots of New England hospitality! The Inn is located just right off of all of the action, everything within walking distance so no hunting for a parking space when wandering through the village district of Bar Harbor. Yet it is quiet and cozy, and made for good sleeping! I would highly recommend this charming B&B!!!

We have been coming to Acadia National Park and have stayed at Acacia House for many years. Acacia House is very popular and last year for the first time we didn't reserve on time and had to stay elsewhere. Our vacation just did not feel complete.||This quiet B&B is improbably located just a few blocks from the center of bustling Bar Harbor, but on peaceful, tranquil residential street. The common areas have plenty of room to hang out in.||The hosts are wonderful, gracious, and caring people who are very knowledgeable about the area and will help you with whatever you need. The food is fantastic. Wonderful breakfasts made with fresh ingredients, a wide variety of selections on their regular breakfast menu, always with a fruit course and an exquisite hime-made pastry, and a different special every day. Homemade cookies and lemonade in the afternoon. For a reasonable price, you can order a bag lunch to take with you to the park or wherever.||The rooms are simple; no TV thank god that just takes up space in the room. Very clean; good quality towels. Our room this year had an amazing shower; not sure if they are in all the rooms yet. Very reasonably priced.|| Acacia House is a special place to stay. Book early!|

The room was roomy and very comfortable. Our hosts, Ralph and Anne, were awesome and very helpful when it came to navigating Acadia National Park. The breakfasts were just amazing and they utilized the wonderful blueberries as we went during blueberry season. We would definitely go back!

Another stay at our favorite place in Bar Harbor. Perfect location within walking distance to the center but far enough away from any nightlife noise. Delicious breakfasts with Ralph’s pastries and sourdough bread and |Anna’s omelettes, pancakes, parfaits. . .all most beautifully garnished and presented. Really good coffee and selection of teas. Afternoon lemonade and amazing cookies. Comfortable charming rooms. Anna and Ralph are welcoming and accommodating innkeepers. This will be our annual summer destination from now on.
