AC Hotel Seattle Bellevue/Downtown - Hotel in Bellevue - 208 106th Pl NE, USA

My husband and I are frequent Marriott members—my husband is actually at the top tier status (Ambassador?) Anyway, I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed with my experience here yesterday that i felt compelled to do so today to highlight a young employee at the hotel by the name of KB. I checked in to the AC Hotel last night on 7/19–the same day that there was worldwide travel disruptions due to software malfunction. By the time I arrived at the hotel, it was quite late and I was exhausted and hobbling as I injured my leg. My assigned room had a malfunctioning air conditioning so I went back downstairs to get some help, dreading the inevitability of having to move my luggage given my mobility issues. When I got downstairs, there was a long line and two hotel employees trying to manage the many weary travelers. One particular person was screaming at one of the workers in a very disrespectful unreasonable way—I noticed while waiting and was quite impressed by the manner in which the young man kept his cool. By the time I got to the front of the line, I was the last person there so I explained my predicament. The young man, KB, not only found me another room but he came up to make sure the air conditioning was functional in my new room and to help me move my luggage since I was having trouble walking. That’s how I found out this young worker had been at work since 7am—and almost 16 hours later, he still had the good grace, the kindness and the thoughtfulness to help me at that late hour. I just wanted to congratulate the AC for hiring such a professional young person. I am sure he will go far in life. We are so appreciative you were able to help last night and again today in extending our stay.

We had nothing but an excellent experience here, despite having a minor issue upon check-in that was solved immediately. Grace was incredibly helpful and saved us from a continuing nightmare. We had flown in from Maryland for a wedding and our flights were delayed causing us to check in VERY late the morning after our reservation started. We had called ahead to make sure the hotel understood our issue and didn't cancel our room for a no-show. Grace pulled up our reservation and noticed that our previous night had actually been cancelled, so we were "Early" for check in, but as soon as she saw our condition, she made everything more than right. Immediately getting us into an available room and adding complimentary access to the breakfast cafe for the whole weekend. Absolute savior! Also, we LOVED the breakfast cafe and all of the staff there as well. The fresh lattes were incredible, and so was all the food. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Seattle in the future!

We enjoyed staying here for 3 days. The location is good very close to all the great restaurants that we like. Service is 5 star both from front desk to cleaning people. The only thing get a 3 star is the room itself. It was designed to meet just basic necessities we found it vey bared. No closet under bathroom vanity. No closet for clothes hanging. everything is compact. Room is clean but we were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t see what normally there for a hotel room. Overall we enjoyed the stay

This is a mixed review. The hotel has good location and the rooms are nice and clean. I am staying for 4 nights. On the morning of check out day (which is today), the room suddenly had no water supply at around 8am. Talked to the front desk and they don't have much idea initially. First a lady told me they will send an engineer. Then I walked down and the front desk staff said it's due to the annual fire drill. They kept promising another 15 to 20 minutes. It's almost two hours now at 9:50am and still no water. Front desk offered to find us another room with water, but later called and said that was not the case and they couldn't find one.||I have to say the staff stayed courteous throughout the process and offered some points as compensation. But there seems to be a general lack of awareness of the situation, or at least a lack of transparency. They explained that this is due to the hotel using a different company for the fire drill and that this new company showed up late, causing the water stoppage to happen at a much later time than scheduled. This was a context for the hotel management and an incident they should learn from. The context does not help customers. Customers staying here should be warned of an upcoming water stoppage that will begin at a very inconvenient time. As a result of failure on the hotel's part, we cannot prepare for upcoming meetings in time his happening for us to get ready ahead of time. I can't imagine the disruption of not having water at 8am if people are in the middle of a shower or other bathroom activities. ||Here's the latest at 10am. Front desk called and said water cannot come now as promised and they needed another 10 minutes. (There was some mention of additional points, but that is not going to help me - I'll have to change a meeting in person to a meeting online, which defeats part of the reason for the business trip. This is inexusable.) I may even have to delay checking out due to the disruption and hope they don't charge me for that.

I have to say, I usually am very pleased with AC Hotels. They're not opulent, but usually the customer service is good. I did find myself very disappointed with the AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown at my recent stay. The hotel was a typical AC Hotel, but the customer service was really lacking, and there were a couple of clear negatives for me. First, we showed up at 5p to find our room wasn't ready, which was annoying given that we just got back from a 3-day backpacking trip and really were looking forward to checking in and cleaning up. We were given a lower floor room as a substitute. Second, there is no self park and the valet parking was $50+ a night which I might expect at a hotel in NYC, but not in Bellevue. I think that the valet parking is run by a separate group, but the rates were really eye popping. Finally, there really are minimal touches at the hotel - the free coffee was tepid and empty and overall the customer service was perfunctory at best. I usually put in over 75 nights a year at Marriotts, and I'll definitely not be returning to this one.

Was an okay room. Desk Mgrs are not great at hospitality. I definitely expected better. They ignored my calls for a week and then argued when I did finally get to talk to someone. Avoid them if you can. Over all stay was wonderful My favorite was their Valet Parking. I highly recommend very courteous. Opens the car door for you. Takes care of your vehicle and is very fast at retrieving your vehicle for you when needed! @ only fifty bucks, you can't go wrong.

This hotel literally has the best service I've ever had. A key star here is Mapuana & Grace - they both go out of their way to make sure you're happy and it's amazing. I felt like a king with their & their team's service. Big big shout out and thanks. I stayed for a month so I truly got to know the hotel well. Everyone working here is top notch - whoever did the hiring and training did a great job! The rooms are quiet, clean, and well designed. I didn't hear my neighbors at all, which is rare to find. It's also super close to everything you need in downtown Bellevue. I would definitely stay here again and highly highly highly recommend everyone traveling to this area to stay here if they can.

Found what looked like an old blood stain in the middle of the beds fitted sheet. Have no idea how the housekeeping could have missed seeing or why they would have still made the bed up with this stain. Gross. Was too late at night to bother the front desk with a sheet change. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Room small but adequate. Nice bathroom but very much not private, with sliding door.
