Great location. Staff was nice. Hillary checked us in, she was really quick and personable. Only few complaints : window view lol not ideal at all, had us thinking it was muggy and raining all day, the air doesn’t feel like it working throughout the night, and no pool, but overall great experience. Would stay again, really close to bourbon, same street really. .always felt safe walking as well..

The best front desk staff I have come across in a long time! After a pretty long road trip, it was nice to finally pull in and be greeted by a very friendly valet parking team and a wonderful front desk staff as well. Hillary was working at the time and was very professional and accommodating. She struck up casual conversation and answered all our questions. When we checked out Stacey was working the front desk and she also was amazing, friendly and very professional as well! I will come back here again based on our great stay, nice room, competitive rate and our very pleasant experience with Hillary and Stacey!

Overall a positive experience. The location to bourbon street was great. The room was clean, but our room was hot. We couldn’t turn the air down anymore. The main reason I stayed here was because I brought my dog with me to go to a specialty hospital in New Orleans. My biggest issue was that there was no where for my dog to use the restroom. When I asked the front desk staff if there was an area for him they said “no I don’t think so”. I think if a hotel is going to be pet friendly they need to have an area for the pets to use the bathroom.

Hillary from front desk is awesome! First time in Louisiana and she made sure to get us acquainted with the city and assured we were comfortable during our stay. She’s absolutely wonderful and really brings the hotel together. Only issue was housekeeping trying to barge in our room at 9am.

I’ve been having the best experiences and stays at AC properties and this one was no different. From the easy checkin process where Asia made sure I was welcomed and thanked for my status and my questions were answered. The rest of the staff I had the opportunity to interact with were also very friendly and helpful. Clean property, decent gym and the bed was very comfortable. Overall great stay!

Room 323 is a larger room with a view of the backside of another building and an access alley. Not a big deal since you really should get out and enjoy the city. However this room feels dark and cavernous. It's difficult to apply makeup and know what you'll look like in natural light. Cons The water in the shower doesn't really have a cool setting. It's always pretty hot not matter what you charge the temperature settings too. The rooms are a little small. The closet is also small. The shower needs more shelf space. I appreciate that they supply body wash shampoo and conditioner but for those of us that bring their own products, there almost no space to bring it in the shower. The hotel is showing its age. The carpet is soiled and the walls are scuffed and worn. Some of the blackout curtains have small holes in them and they are nearly impossible to keep closed. Valet parking is about $53 per night. Skip it. Do yourself a favor and bend the block to park at the Hilton for about $25-$30 per night.....that's probably where the valet is parking your vehicle anyway. Pros The best thing about this hotel is the location only 2 blocks from Bourbon and Canal St. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bartender Mark took great care of my hubby in the evenings and recommended tasty desserts. My favorite is Stanley the front desk agent. If Stacy is the manager, hear me out..,,Stanley needs a raise and more help on busy weekends. He was helpful, very accommodating and patient with everyone even when they weren't patient with him. It was a pleasant experience with him every time we passed through the lobby. Deion was also very helpful when I had to change my room. I forgot to get a picture but every hotel needs a wine opener in the lobby. Overall the price point for this hotel aligned with the accommodations. Expect to pay more if they renovate.

Check-in at the AC Hotel New Orleans French Quarter was seamless, thanks to the super friendly staff who made the process a breeze. However, the room experience varied. The room felt cramped and featured rolled vinyl flooring that, unfortunately, appeared worn with visible scratches and stains, detracting from the overall feel. This issue extended to the bathroom where, although the tiles were aesthetically pleasing, they were uneven and loose, creating a disconcerting cracking sound underfoot. On a positive note, the rain shower head was a highlight—providing a delightful experience, though the handheld sprayer was disappointing due to its lack of pressure. Additionally, there was a minor issue with water pooling on the shower floor, which seems to be a drainage oversight. The bathroom features a modern glass sliding barn door, which, while stylish, falls short in containing steam and other aromas within the bathroom area, occasionally allowing them to drift into the sleeping area. The room’s air conditioning was excellent, maintaining comfort with a clean intake and vent system. However, the general maintenance of the room could be improved, as evidenced by damaged and peeling wallpaper. We didn't use the valet service, but their staff was courteous, occasionally assisting by opening doors for our Uber rides. The bed, while on a modern platform frame, was excessively firm and lacked the cushioning and bounce one might expect from a hotel bed, impacting the quality of sleep. In summary, while the hotel excels in staff hospitality and certain amenities, attention to room comfort and maintenance could enhance the overall guest experience significantly.

Upon arriving at the hotel I immediately felt concerned. For an AC Marriott I expected it to be cleaner and more well kept. Got my key and headed to my room. The elevator was janky. Got to my room and it smelled like something was burning. The windows were so dirty I couldn’t even see out. The room was on the 3rd floor in the front and all you could hear was traffic. I was there for Mother’s Day and I just wanted to have a nice stay. I went to the front desk to simply advise is was going to another hotel. The young gentlemen at the desk was nice and asked if I wanted to check out another room before I made that decision. I said sure. It wouldn’t hurt. I wasn’t overly excited about the hotel in general but it was super late midnight and trying to find another hotel was going to be a lot. I was exhausted from travel. anyway, the 2nd room was better. The hallways smelled like weed and you can hear people in the hallways all hours of the night. I told the guy at the front desk I was gonna stay for the night but wanted to check out the next day. He said he was going to discount my night and if tomorrow I decided to stay there he’d discount my remaining nights. After a nights sleep, considering the offer for the discount I decided to stay. If I wasn’t paying full price I could tolerate the next few days. Anyway , I communicated via the marriot app chat feature that I was going to stay and they were going to update my rate. Well upon check out my rate wasn’t updated and after numerous calls to the hotel to get it rectified with no response I gave up. Totally scammed. Stay somewhere else.
