I recently stayed at the AC Hotel Honolulu for one night and wish I could have stayed longer. The front office staff were exceptional, with a special shout-out to Nalu, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, featuring everything you need for a comfortable stay. I loved the modern design and the amenities provided. The gym, while small, was well-equipped with a walk and bike, though adding more leg equipment could enhance the experience.
I only had the chance to try the breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, and it was fantastic. The service was top-notch, although expanding the breakfast options could make it even better.
The hotel's location is ideal, with restaurants, shops, and public transportation all within walking distance. Overall, I highly recommend AC Hotel Honolulu for its excellent service, convenient location, and modern amenities.
Stay here. The front desk staff is amazing. The restaurant is delicious. The Speakeasy is fun. Housekeeping keeps everything clean and fresh. I have zero complaints. It's near the palace and china town. Lots of restaurants around. Perfect location.
Nice clean 'new' condition hotel. Rooms very good. Staff friendly and extremely responsive. Maybe not as good for tourists because of location... but a favorite of our tourist group of five. The hotel itself is in hood shape ... but I emphasize the staff... they are very good.
This new boutique hotel is perfectly located to accommodate Honolulu cruise port passengers. It’s a short taxi ride (or reasonable walk if you choose) to the pier. There’s a restaurant on site if desired and outside dining options are within walking distance. Check in and check out were a breeze. Staff member encounters were friendly. I especially want to mention Guest Services Manager Amber, who happily accommodated an unplanned late check out request.||Please know that this is not a resort hotel. Think New York City sized rooms. The rooms were functionally appointed, clean, and modern. Public spaces were well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I needed a room in the downtown Honolulu area.
I really like the rooms they are very unique, it feels almost like a studio apartment. I love the shower, it is one of the only showers I've had to dial back a bit because they get HOT! 🔥
At least in my room the sliding glass door absolutely covers the bathroom area and gives you privacy, idk why people are saying the glass door leaves a big enough gap you can see people in the room.
The staff is very polite and super accommodating! The valet staff is technically a 3rd party, but they are also very polite and easy to work with.
It is located just outside of China town which does get rough at night, so do be careful there.
This hotel opened December 2023, although the building is older. At the time we booked, it was one of the cheapest available hotels in Honolulu. For the relatively low price, it worked very well. The lobby is quite nice, the rooms are modern, the staff was generally friendly, and the restaurant was surprisingly good. I am glad to see they still put Bibles in the rooms.||Now for the flaws: The bathroom is divided between the toilet & shower behind a sliding glass door and the sink out in the open. This makes it almost impossible to not disturb someone who's sleeping. And there's no fan in the toilet/shower room so anyone you're traveling with will hear *everything*. The floors throughout the room were sticky, which is never a good thing.||For the price, it worked well, but be aware of the challenges.
I stayed three days/two nights. Limited "negatives." My procurement training was triggered when the cover of my room key card access fell off, and I noted a bit of damage to the bottom of the room door. Nothing impeding my access or enjoyment, but strange for such a new property to already have things falling off or damaged.||A neutral aspect is location. Easy walking to statues, museums, famous bars, the palace, the State Capitol, and notable attractions. It's a 15-17 minute drive to the mall, beach and main strip. I found the nearby sights to be worthwhile, the valet staff were awesome (friendly, quick, careful), and a rideshare to the surfing legend restaurant and beach was inexpensive and less than 20 minutes each time. Another "eh" aspect is the modern design. The toilet and shower closet door has a gap and the sink overlooks the bed, so there's not much privacy. It didn't bother us, but if you're planning to have multiple people bunking together without intimate familiarity, it could be awkward and disruptive to anyone sleeping in.||Great parts include the warm and attentive staff. From the room cleaners, to the front desk, to the aforementioned valets, everyone was welcoming and helpful. The price was very fair for two nights. The room size was perfect for a couple, and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel for couples. I would stay again and probably do what I did this trip: stay a couple of nights closer to Diamond Head and then a couple of nights at this hotel.
Located in Oahu's Chinatown, AC hotel is a newly established Hilton affiliate. The rooms are small and the walls thin, but have nice modern finishes. The cleaning staff is kind and honest. The valet service is nice for what it is, but can get slow at times, depending on how often you plan to drive around. The breakfast has room for improvement.
The front reception staff is superb, in particular Mike and Nalu, absolute MVPs during my week-long work trip. They supported over a dozen of our workers without any attitude, all smiles and kindness. Mike and Nalu personify Hawaii Hospitality, and deserve hefty raises. We will definitely come back to AC Hotel next time we visit Oahu!
The hotel is very nice and modern. Everything is new and in good condition. The location is very central close to everything. I stayed in the ocean view room for 6 nights. The view is very pretty, and you can see Friday night fireworks from my bedroo
This hotel is a great place to stay while staying in Hawaii. I haven't had a bad experience while staying here.
The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you with any questions. The rooms are perfect size for a vacation and updated for t
Ono, soo ono. If you enjoy the taste and feel of each bite in your mouth, this is the place for local, healthy, ono eats. Fresh every single time. This is the first time in my life that I have eaten at one restaurant three (3) times IN THE FIRST WEEK
Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout

I have been searching and searching for great biscuits and gravy like I used to get back in Texas, and OMG these were so so so so much better than that. Did something different and went with the chicken biscuits and gravy and was happily surprised at
