AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter - Hotel in Dunwoody - 40 Perimeter Center Pl, USA

This is a beautiful, modern hotel located in the center of lots of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Plenty of complementary parking. Rooms were clean and everything felt new and updated. Nan was a standout employee, her service was exceptional. I was staying at the hotel for my sister’s wedding and she went above and beyond to make it special for her. Upgraded her room and even went out to purchase items to decorate it for her and her husband for when they returned to the hotel after the wedding. Nan was so sweet and thoughtful. The only negatives I can note, which still wouldn’t subtract from my rating, were that there is no pool, the rooftop was closed for private events for most of my stay, room service did not visit or clean my room one day of my visit, and I didn’t get the extra towels I requested during my reservation. Despite these minor issues, would still stay here again and rate my visit 10/10.

Passing through town on the way to a wedding and stayed the night here. After a long day of travel we were welcomed so genuinely and nicely by Gwen. She made our stay the awesome by providing such great hospitality and being so nice. She truly enjoys her job. The room was fantastic as well. Highly recommend if your in the area and need place to stay

My 2nd visit to this hotel to visit the rooftop bar. Views 5 stars. Parking- excellent, location- excellent, lobby - exquisite (looks & smell clean). Arrived & was warmly greeted by receptionist. I needed to use the restroom so I looked around lobby <1 min when receptionist entered the completely empty no person lobby, I asked for restroom which I was directed to (5 *), upon return to lobby the receptionist was sitting in the lobby chairs with a security personnel standing nect to her 'chatting'. Only other person in lobby was my well dressed husband. I thought that was weird that it was necessary to summon security because an older couple was identified as a threat to this hotel security/safeyt. We made our way to the rooftop bar, enjoyed our visit but was disappointed with the earlier interaction. I'm a Bonvoy member & have stayed at many Marriotts b4 and never felt this uncomfortable by the staff. Question- why is no guest Ever in your lobby?

Overall, the stay was decent. The location was great. Parking was good. Check-in was good, and the rooftop was nice as well. However, upon returning to our room that night, we had an issue with the restroom door not opening, and my gf was stuck in there for over an hour until help came. She was traumatized and unable to get a decent night's rest that night due to these unfortunate events.

My family and I had such a phenomenal experience at this hotel. The hotel was very clean, the environment was friendly but the customer service was top tier. Every person that worked there and that I came in contact with was extremely friendly. But I have to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Gwen Fleming at the front desk that went over and beyond to accommodate our needs during our stay. Mrs. Gwen you were phenomenal and I’ll come back to the hotel and stay simply because you are there. Thank you very making our stay very pleasant. Dr. Diana Watley

The positive great location. Negative the first room, room 435, was horrible. The design is called the European model. What that means is that your sink is in the bedroom. So when you use the restroom you cannot wash your hands until you open the sliding door and come back into the bedroom where the sink is located. The bed was a step up from sleeping on the floor, hard as a rock. Add to that the pillows are as soft as a marshmallow so don't expect any back support to sit up and watch TV. The views from the rooftop bar are wonderful. The drinks are not. I tried a margarita first and it tasted like watered down Kool aid. I then tried cranberry and vodka which was very similar. I had to ask that the glass be reduced from ice that filled 3/4 of the glass. There were two women at the front desk, I'm sorry I don't remember their names who were both very pleasant. The opposite of that was the Assistant Manager Travis. He is totally lacking in the professionalism and basic manners that I have come to expect at Marriott properties. It's because of the interaction with him that I gave 2 stars for Service. If not for the pleasant two women front desk team members I would have given 1 star. When I explained all of the issues that were in room 435 the female front desk person, apologized, and said changing rooms would be no problem and she would leave a note. When I returned I encountered Travis, once again explained the situation, he said no note was left, and he said I could change but for a higher charge. It took several minutes of unnecessary back and forth conversation before he finally agreed to the room change, at no charge. The hotel was not full so why he was being so difficult I have no idea. I apologize for the length of this review but I wanted to be thorough. I'm disappointed that it was so bad because I had been looking forward to this staycation at this property. I think I'll stick with full Marriott's, Renaissance or maybe the Ritz going forward, but no more AC. For the record I was in Europe last year at a Marriott and the sink was in the bathroom.

I was so grateful for Gwen, the front service personnel who gave us one of the best hotel experiences ever!! Thank you so much for vibrant attitude and willingness to help. Your staff was also amazing. Thank you Ms. Venus for being an awesome help. You were knowledgeable about your hotel and went all out making sure we were accommodated. You guys are the best!!! If you're in the area, this is the hotel you should stay at, HANDS DOWN!! Oh, and then the 2 shower heads, the see through refrigerator!! Ok, I'm done frfr!🤣

Very pleased. Came to the area to celebrate my son's birthday. We all had fun. Super close to anything you'd want to do, see or eat. Rooms are comfortable. No carpet. Could have used some rugs by the beds to wipe off our feet before climbing into bed. But overall very pleased. My son and daughter-in-law loved the workout room and delicious coffee in the lobby. Great lobby staff. Many thanks Travis and Venice for making us feel like family! Yes, we'll be back for another family reunion soon.
