Can't go wrong eating here! We ordered the Nashville hot cheese curds for an appetizer, shrimp fettuccine, and get this the peanut butter and jelly bacon burger! Interestingly enough the pb&j and bacon burger mash-up paired well together. This place has great atmosphere, wonderful service, inviting outdoor area, and really good food.
The food was good. The pancakes were really good and the eggs could be cooked in a variety of ways. We asked for a bowl of fresh fruits to share and it was quite big. The fruits themselves were fine. The service was fine. We were in the terrace, the weather was very hot and damp but they didn't turn on the fans :(.
I really love this restaurant. I have enjoyed every dish I have had so far, and their catfish is delicious. You get all the classic Louisiana dishes and fixings here. Each dish is prepared well and represents a good standard on how each dish should properly taste. The location of this cafe is nestled in the old heart of Abita Springs, in walking distance of the trail and the farmer's market. They have abundant outdoor dining, with a portion of it partially climate controlled. So you can eat outside relatively comfortably in the cold or heat - a very neat feature!
130yo renovated building, cute and cozy, but AC struggled to keep up. Wait staff good. Prices a touch high but portions generous (except for shrimp in the S&G) Very good: Catfish po'boy, sweet tea, omelette, French toast, chicken wrap, bacon, shrimp Good: Salad, garlic biscuit, onion ring So-so: Grits (bitter aftertaste), fried cheese bites .
One of the family's favorite breakfast spots. Kids love the wide cups filled with hot chocolate tops with whipped cream. You can sit indoors, covered outdoor patio, or an outdoor open seating area with umbrellas and a couple misting fans when it gets hot. Breakfast/brunch times we have normally experienced 30-60 min wait. Haven't signed in for dinner yet.
It was our first time visiting Louisiana and eating here. Everything we ordered was delicious, the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here, you won't be disappointed🙂
We loved the covered area with the fans. It was 97 degrees but it felt comfortable. The service was friendly. The food was delicious and the chairs were big girl friendly. We will definitely be back!
The breakfast here was incredible! I had the meatlovers omelet with grits and a biscuit. The inside is smaller, but they also have outdoor seating. I found the staff to be very courteous and really friendly. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future. I loved the selection of breakfast on the menu!

My husband and I stayed the last 2 nights. Love the house. And the room and bathroom were clean and smelled good. The bed was super comfy. And I LOVE the No pet policy. I have bad allergies and that's hard to find these days.
Cool little place that matches small town Abita Springs on the outside and rustic on the inside. Serving almost all of Abita Brewery's brews, wine and cocktails as well. We started off with some Coopers Fries, sub's queso cheese for the shredded ched
A very fascinating and unique experience. To some, this place may seem weird, but thereâs art in the detail of every square inch of this place. I was impressed by the way ordinary, and some unordinary, items were engineered for motions and sounds.
