I loved everything about this place. It was impeccably tended, the Garden Room where I stayed was cozy and quiet and very comfortable. There were fresh baked cookies and a huge variety of tea. Susan is an excellent chef and her breakfasts were beautiful and delicious. On my last day I left before breakfast and Susan sent me off with a bowl of fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins. The location could not be better. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the theaters and to the downtown shops. When I arrived Susan recommended several places on the map for a variety of activities. As a lover of plants and landscaping I was also impressed with the grounds and had pleasant conversations with Susan about the variety of herbs and other plants.

Family and friends have joined me in traveling to Ashland for over three decades. For the last ten years, we have annually stayed with Susan and Adam because of their wonderful bed & breakfast inn. Guests can immediately see that great care in the details is exhibited in all spaces --- from meticulous cleaning to thoughtful snacks and beverages. Before we even arrive, we begin salivating over Susan’s delicious two-course breakfasts, which are unforgettable! We recently returned from a 3 night stay at Abigail's and were so pleased with the entire experience. The inn is cozy and comfortable and beautiful. It is spotlessly clean....amazingly so. It is also within easy walking distance of downtown which was so convenient as parking can be a bit tricky in the busy summer season. Innkeepers Adam and Susan are gems in the hospitality business. So professional, so friendly but never intrusive and full of great information about the Ashland Area. If you wish, you can have breakfast included and I highly recommend it. Susan is a remarkable chef and created a magnificent and generously portioned 2 course meal each morning which we shared at a communal table with the other guests. The presentation was exceptional and the food was simply delicious. Food allergies and preferences are taken into account which is so thoughtful. Each day, she also provided a baked treat in the afternoon such as cookies, shortbread, and one day, cupcakes!. There are also both sweet and savory snacks, drinks, a well stocked tea station, coffee and filtered water available 24/7. It was very hot when we were there, but the air conditioning in the inn worked well and we were never uncomfortable. We stayed in the Abigail Adams room which was a good size with super comfy bed. It was at the back of the house (upstairs) and we were never bothered by road noise and slept very well. Coffee maker included in room so we could just stay in for that first cup. All in all, we highly recommend this inn. We will definitely be returning for our next trip to Ashland.

Susan was a great host making us feel welcome right away. Our room met expectations based on the pictures on their website. Loved our room's balcony which we used for an after dinner drink. Loved the homemade cookies that were available when we checked in. The breakfast of crustless quiche, salad, crispy bacon, sausage, blueberry coffee cake with a scoop of frozen yogurt was fabulous. My only suggestion would be to serve the savory course prior to the sweet course. The parking behind the inn was convenient.

Susan and Adam, the proprietors of Abigail's, are the ultimate hosts. Checking in was a breeze with lots of personal attention. The rooms are immaculate and the property is beautifully maintained. And what to say about the 2 course breakfast ...? Susan is an amazing chef: everything was just delicious, the presentation enticing, and the portions more than generous. (Susan even more than accommodated a last minute request for vegan options!) Breakfast takes place every morning at 9 am around a communal table, which is such a good way to connect with others! Shared spaces are comfortable to hang out in, including the inviting front porch. Tea, coffee, sodas, snacks, and a special daily treat are readily available. Walking downtown takes about 10 minutes, unless you want to take a detour through the beautiful neighborhood and end up in Ashland's fabulous Lithia Park. My friend and I would love to come back soon!

You walk in and immediately you are aware this is an establishment that goes to great lengths to make your stay amazing. The home made biscuits and cakes, the ample supple of refreshments, leaflets etc. Then you get to the room where everything is beautiful and of the highest standard. Breakfast is served to all the guests at once at one large table and we loved the chance to chat to the other 8 guests and get tips on places to eat in the evening or to go to. It really feels like you are a guest in a traditional American Ranch home. The breakfasts were incredible and to such a high standard, we did not need any lunch.

There aren't enough stars in the heavens to give Abigail's. I stayed for four nights and could not have enjoyed it more. Susan and Adam are consummate hosts, and their decade of experience running this charming B&B shows. Their attention to detail and care for their guests is incredible. To say nothing of Susan's breakfasts, which are truly outstanding. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and cannot wait to return.
