Fresh bagel! 🥯
They don’t use any artificial seasoning so the taste is clean and delicious😌
Their indoor space is not spacious, and only a few seats are available, but they do have many outdoor seats available!

I have been getting lunch from this place for about 2-3 years and I'm ashamed I didn't write a review sooner. There's a reason why this place is so highly rated. The food is delicious and the people who work there are amazing. Don't sleep on this place if you live in or close to Berkeley. My personal favorite is the special breakfast burrito (see photo) but everything on the menu is great.
Definitely the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Berkeley, every dish has been great
The BEST egg sandwich I've had in quite some time + portions are massive such great bang for your buck with the freshest ingredients. ALSO the spinach and pineapple juice was BOMB! To top it off Abe is such a great guy and really brightened my morning with his positive vibes and energy :) Thanks Abe!!!!
Mole quesadilla is the bomb!
I've been going to Abe's since they opened over 7 years ago and it's still my favorite breakfast/lunch spot on the Northside. Great food, awesome people, convenient location.
one of my favorite cafes ever in north berkeley. abe truly appears to appreciate every customer and takes his time to ask how they are. it has become one of my comfort places at berkeley and i love every moment and every bite i take here at abe’s cafe
Not a lot of sitting space, but most things are okay to order to go. Some daily specials are especially worthy of consideration, like this green chili pork sandwich here.
This place is quite legit since menus here are quite tasty. I have not visited this place that much to be honest but I really enjoyed sandwiches I ordered and tried so far: Carnitas sandwich and steak cheese one.
Just one thing to note is, I could feel a bit of smell of pork in the carnitas but I was totally fine with it. But it might bother some of you who are not familiar with that kind of smell so I would like to tell you to beware. Cheese steak was fine. I was worried at a glance when I was served this dish since the bread seemed very hard. It was much softer than I was worried though. Very enjoyable and I'm willing to visit here again.
If you think the stuffed INN is a bit too light for your meal but you still wanna grab some sandwich then this is the right place you've gotta try. I would give them 4.3 stars.
Great place! Super friendly, Iâm always greeted with big smiles. The coffee is wonderful and the lattes are made perfectly. I work in downtown Berkeley and have gone to all the coffee shops in the area and this is by far the best.
Perfect college town shop! Great prices, great food and drinks, and really nice atmosphere. Everyone who served me was friendly and quick! You can order ahead on snackpass if you're in a rush, or sit down and do work at their tables.
So impressed! Great prices, quality ingredients! We had the breakfast bowl, breakfast sandwich and the home style breakfast and we loved them all! Will be back next time weâre in town!

So 5 minutes later we met this neighborhood gem - a vivid yellow littl

Their breakfast burrito comes with hash browns inside. Hash. Browns. Inside. And itâs only $7.
In case youâre still reading and not driving to this cafe, then grab your keys and go.

What a fabulous day with OTF. We were celebrating two very special birthdays and 60 years of friendship. Dawn was wonderful in the pre-trip planning listening to our wish list and then ensuring we would have an experience never to be forgotten. Sh

So tonight I did a thing. I took my daughter and two of her friends here to see a punk show. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. But I was actually blown away with the talent, raw drive and energy they play with. Really humbled.
