Abellona Inn & Suites On The Shore - Motel in Old Orchard Beach - 1 York St, USA

Found this place not knowing anything about the area and was so pleasantly surprised! We got the 2 bedroom upstairs/downstairs suite with full kitchen and 2 full baths. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It was also so close to the beach. Main office had some of the essentials you may need last minute, free of charge. Only thing would be it could use some kitchen pans, bowls etc. but that was so minor. Amazing place! I would definitely go back!

We stayed here for a few nights last weekend. We were pleasantly surprised. We opted for a king kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great - bathroom very clean. The kitchen area was perfect for making some small meals. Our room was not oceanfront but just steps to the sand. The property is well maintained and has some great common spaces right by the sand (couch and some tables). They have a nice grilling area that we checked out for next time :) - The front office people were very kind and welcoming. The property was close enough to the pier but far enough away. It was an easy quick walk. We will definitely stay again!

My husband and I had a wonderful one-week stay at the Abellona in a 2nd floor King Oceanfront room. You cannot beat the location,with easy walking distance to the Pier , shops and restaurants. We also noticed fewer red algae at this end of the beach compared to Pinepoint where we had stayed in previous years. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable and the maintenance staff were extremely responsive. The room had a microwave and a small fridge which allowed us to eat breakfast in the room most days, make sandwiches for lunch and bring in some take-out for dinner to ease our budget. Although we wish we could have afforded something a bit larger, we knew this going in. With the beautiful weather and unbelievably warm water, our stay was total bliss!

Stayed 5 nights in room 26. Excellent location and views from our top floor balconies! Very comfortable beds and attentive housekeeping! Walk to center was a bit much for us older folk but not impossible! Ice on premises was a plus! Wifi worked great! AC’s worked great! Just enough pots, pans, silverware, plates, bowls and glasses provided. Refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave and coffee maker provided. Removed just enough from the chaos of crowds but fireworks view from out balcony was spectacular! Recommendation left for additional mirrors in bedrooms as the only one was in the bathroom. Also, one of the bedrooms had a skylight with no shade. The morning sun beamed into our faces at sunrise. I would recommend a sleep mask for that room. Hosts were super pleasant! We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely! We will be back!

This was our second stay here and we loved it even more! We loved our room; so private and quiet for couples! The room was spacious and clean! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! The beach was beautiful and steps from our room. Also, the pier is close enough to walk to but far enough away for a peaceful stay! Thank you, Abellona!

Loved it so much! Already reserved for next year! Rooms are so cute and clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And being right on the beach, you can't beat that!

I stayed at Abellona Inn & Suites over Memorial Day weekend. I was in a king size room. The room was very clean, nicely remodeled, and comfortable. The owner was in the office when I arrived and accommodated my early arrival with a parking pass so I could have extra time on the beach. The location is a convenient walk to the center of town and is on a quiet end of the beach. I would highly recommend a stay at the Abellona Inn & Suites.

We stayed in economy room 44 and was honestly a little concerned when we saw the bed which looked uncomfortable but it actually slept pretty good... Also was able to walk to the amusement park in about a 5 minute walk where I had decent pizza and some ice cream
