Aashram Motel by Niagara River - Hotel in Niagara Falls - 6508 Buffalo Ave, USA

Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Very calm and quiet place and near to Niagara falls (around 3.5 miles). But there were no coffee machine and the fridge in room. A small leakage in the bathroom vessel sink bowl. Their complementary breakfast is awesome. They provide a FULL breakfast.

I wish there was a zero stars to rate that place. This is definitely the worst stay of my life. We paid $450 for 2 nights (not a holiday, not a weekend) in that garbage motel. The room was dirty, disgusting and smelly. * When we entered the room, we found rice in the drawer. * The fridge that made a lot of noise was disgusting and wasn't cleaned before we entered. * The hair dryer was like burned or something * The bathtub was looking like it was never cleaned before to the point there was a big patch in the middle of the tub. * In the morning, the breakfast had almost nothing and there were no places to sit. When I called the manager (who she claimed is the owner of the establishment), she yelled at me in front of all the guests telling me there is no cheese because there is no bagels, I asked her to calm down but she didn't, she made fun of me saying "please I want you to write an essay as a review". I don't think I've been treated like this anywhere in my life in an hotel or anywhere else. She was extremely rude. Check the pictures I uploaded to see how dirty everything is. Also there are some pictures showing the breakfast buffet empty of food. I definitely do NOT recommend anyone to waste their money in that place. It is dirty, extremely bad service, smelly, and breakfast is almost nothing.

Oh, my Lord, what a dirty, dirty, DIRTY place! I don’t even know where to begin. The carpet is smelly, moldy and sticky, I don’t think it has been washed once in 20 years. Same about the curtains or the blankets. Curtains had a layer of that dark oil/dust mixture you see in the uncleaned fume hoods or microwave vents. There is no vending machine in the entire hotel. I mean there is one but it has been empty for ages, non-functional. So pack on water because there won’t be any place to get any. By far the worst was the air conditioning. Every time it turned on, this very pungent smell of dirty carpet, wet dog, but most importantly, overpowering stench of mold and mildew would come in the room (the entire hotel has only a ground level near the highway, so sleeping with windows open is not wise). The mold smell was so powerful that we tried to be in the room as little as possible. We woke up stuffy, sneezy and coughing every single day, afflictions that would clear out as soon as we would be outside the wretched hotel. The sheets have not seen a decent amount of soap or bleach in ages. I took pictures of the stains, but they do not do justice to the disgusting oiliness of the sheets. If you want crisp sheets, nay, strike that, clean sheets, go anywhere else. The so-called breakfast consisted only of sweets: some ancient sticky muffins which I doubt have seen the inside of a fridge, a waffle maker that has never been washed, just wiped with a wet dirty rag (I seen this happening), some cereal-dispensing tower, a questionable milk in a fridge that has seen better days, some tea and American bread. I have seen the employees in charge with preparing the rooms and I don’t think this dirtiness falls on them, as they had those horrible sheets in their “new sheets” cart to begin with. I wanted to exchange ours, but the new ones from the cart were no better. Who skimps on soap!? Or bleach for that matter?! We got hives and serious coughing by the time we left the hotel. Now I don’t want to leave you the impression that I’m channeling the princess and the pea here; I don’t book 2-star hotels and expect 4 stars. Not a all, but from all the motels, Arirbnb and inns I stayed in - and we travel quite a bit – this was the dirtiest and the most unhygienic. The owners should be made to sleep there every night and watch their kids getting itchy hives and debilitating coughs and red eyes in their moldy and mildewy rooms. I have no doubt in my mind that sleeping or eating there poses a serious threat to your health, as it did to ours. We will never in a million years step foot in anything associated with that “hotel” and we strongly advise you to do the same.

Worst stay of my life. The rooms were the nastiest, most disgusting rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I turned on every single light in the room, opened up the windows and did an expecting of the room and found blood all over it. Unfortunately, I did not see this until morning and when I brought it up to the front desk, she tried to take my phone out of my hand, aggressively and would not listen to me. She offered no discount refund or any resolution to the problem and she also said she was not going to worry about the stains in the room. If you have any type of cleanliness, you will not stay here this place is a disgrace to all hotels in the area. For the same price, you can stay right on Niagara do that instead. This hotel is 4 miles away. Also walls are paper thin, manager was banging on the doors. The staff lives on property and are extremely rude and aggressive. Avoid at all costs.

Stay for one night - Aug 2024. Checking was fast. Receptionist explain nicely . Room was decent . Restroom was clean . Room has TV , white towel and white bed sheet .my room was clean . Breakfast- 3 types muffins.3-4 types bread . 3-4 types cereal . 2 fruit . Waffle, tea / coffee and juice . It’s 10 min drive from Niagara Falls .

We were impressed by our stay here. The service was excellent. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We came as a family group of 15 and they let us use the tables/continental breakfast area for a gathering place to eat our dinner when we arrived late that evening. The rooms were simple, but accommodating. Breakfast was simple, but there were enough options for the whole family. (They indicated that breakfast was seasonal, starting up again the beginning of April when we came.) ....I would return again.

Rooms were good enough for a night stay and affordable. Don’t expect much from the breakfast, No boiled/scrambled eggs, no meat or any fresh salad/ fruits freshly made for the day. Just some milk and bread over the counters.

What ever you do please DO NOT book with this place! They’re scammers. Everything was very sketchy. They tried telling us that they did not have our reservation on their end even after giving them our confirmation number. They kept switching up their story and couldn’t come up with a reasonable explanation. They also tried telling us that we had to pay an extra 200 plus dollars to confirm our room when we had already paid the full amount and received the confirmation number for our reservation. Then when we tried to cancel the reservation and get a refund they wanted to charge us 500 plus dollars. They did nothing to help us out. Not to mention that we felt discriminated against for being latino! They were extremely derogatory in the way they spoke to us and had no intention whatsoever in fixing the situation. Then when we decided to leave and find another hotel they began spam calling us trying to get us to come back. Horrible experience. Never coming back!
