A&W Restaurant - Fast food restaurant in Pocatello - 1335 N Arthur Ave, USA

My wife (a breastfeeding mother) and I were traveling in the evening and my wife Needed food. It was 20 minutes before closing and the "open" signs were still on but the doors locked. They completely ignored us not even coming over to let us know they were closed and eventually hid in the back. It seems like poor service is a consistent problem here... It's sad to see A&Ws disappearing but after this I'm less confused as to why. After writing most of this review while my wife fed our child and 35 minutes after we got here (15 minutes after the actual close time) an employee came out sipping his ice-cream and gave a burger to a man in a vehicle that pulled up moments before. Burger King was nice though!

Food was good. Not amazing but tasty! Would come back. It felt like a regular fast food restaurant but the people were very kind and got our order exactly right without sacrificing time. Well done.

So, I got food poisoning from the mushroom burger. I thought it was delicious; my wife said it smelled like week-old trash. I bet it was a food service issue though. Honestly though, as long as I only toss cookies once tonight, the root beer might be worth the food poisoning. That was the most heavenly, smooth drink I've ever had; it tasted like the smell of vanilla as a child, before you discover that straight vanilla tastes awful. I really debated giving this higher stars, but I bet I could get that heavenly root beer at another location without the side order of vomit-inducing mushrooms.

Haven't eaten at an A&W in years as there are none in our area. This experience was marvelous!! The burger was so good and so were the cheese curds. We will be back!!

Root beer is house made and incredible. Obviously the big draw with the root beer floats, also exceeds expectations. I didn't know the restaurants and in store a&w were different until the recent law suit against the in store company. Burgers were expensive and average/comparable to Arctic circle (but this is the fast food trend). Daughter got chicken tenders and they were whole pieces of really good chicken. 5/5 for the tenders.

Their hamburger was so dry we couldn't even eat it not worth the money use to be good food don't know what happened

I am a member of a recovery center in town and we go there every Thursday after an AA meeting. And there's between 10-14 of us. There always very kind and helpful with our big order.

It's been awhile since I've been to an A&W so while visiting in the area we decided to give them a try. They did not disappoint! Friendly staff and very quick service. This establishment knows how to treat customers and deliver great food!
