AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care - Featured Reviews (238)
When I called their shop to try and get an appointment, I was surprised by how kind and forward they were. I took my car in. They called and told me what the problem was and said they were checking for parts. The very next day I got a call Saying they found the problem. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be. They were very honest forward and fix my car that day. The charge was very fair. I would certainly suggest this business to anyone in transmission trouble. The manager was very kind knowledgeable on the parts
I went to AAMCO to have transmission work done recently. I've not been in here before but will definitely come back if needed and I do recommend this shop in Maricopa Az. I first step into time with the memorabilia among the walls and and displays. The shop techs we're very helpful in explaining in great detail the process of the work to be done. Thanks Tony and Jesus. A place that gave me great assurance that these mechanics know what they are doing.
I recently went to AAMCO for the ball joints on my Jeep. I have used this crew before, and they didn't disappoint me. They were through and diligent in their work. They fixed my ball joints and diagnosed other issues on my vehicle. ALL of the issues I came in with were fixed efficiently, cost effectively, and reliably. They even worked with me on pick-up times. It is extremely difficult to find honest mechanics who know what they are doing and that are trustworthy. Well, except at AAMCO in Maricopa. Make the drive go see these guys, and you will not be disappointed. They are MY mechanics from now on.
I took my car in for repairs, of which they fixed, but a week later I had to take it back as it was making noises. They had it a couple of days and found that it was a loose bolt and tightened it. Even after this inconvenience I still had a positive experience with this company up to this point. What has left a bitter taste in my mouth is that they broke my glove box when they were getting to the cabin filter without telling me. Since April, I have given them plenty of opportunities to replace the glove box (it’s not repairable). I was told that the OEM part was too expensive and he was looking for a decent used one which I accepted. I even took the time to research and emailed them some used glove box options. Now it’s almost four months later and it has not been replaced, nor have I heard from anyone after multiple attempts. I even requested a call from the owner who has yet to contact me. I have used other AAMCO locations in the past with no issues, but I am very disappointed with this location. Update: I spoke with the owner, Tony, and he ordered my glove box and it's now installed. He was not aware of the issue as I had been working with the previous manager nor was he receiving my messages. Tony was professional and pleasant and I appreciate him taking care of me. Thank you.
I had a very positive experience working with AAMCO in Maricopa. The staff was incredibly patient with helping me through the process of my warranty company. On top of that, when the warranty company caused stress, the shop management was very kind with explaining everything honestly and was always available to talk. The mechanics are top notch and their critical thinking helped in discovering outside the box ways around road blocks (rust) presented in my particular repair. I will be back here for any future repairs that pop up while I am in the Maricopa, Arizona area! Thanks again Jesus and Tony!
The expertise and professionalism were outstanding. The scope of work performed to my 75 Ford F250 was extensive and took a very long time to complete. I appreciate Tony and his staff in maricopa AZ. Truck runs great.
I worked here for over a year and needed to make a change for family and personal reasons. Tony (the owner) was extremely understanding and helpful. I’ve watched him numerous times help our customers out beyond what’s normally required. You can take your car to AAMCO In Maricopa and feel relieved. I’ve never worked at a shop that worked so hard to save a customer cost.
I had to deal with my after market warranty which took 2 months of them doing nothing. All this time the reps here at Aamco were patient. Once I had the warranty out of the scenario the mechanics were able to get my car fixed in less than a week. They were always in communication with me and never had an issue speaking with them. would definitely go back to them. They really told me everything I needed to do for after care and have a 10 day check up to make sure everything is going well.
