AAA Tower Inn & Suites - Motel in Mt Prospect - 303 W Algonquin Rd, USA

The room had a nice temp, but the heater is aside your bed, noisy quite a bit. Anyway as it was a quick nap stop. Room was clean and warm. Bed is ok, pillows too high for me. A big smell of smoke was present all the time, combined with a not enough deodorant smell, but still a bad smoke smell. Front desk not so nice, it was 24 degrees outside while I checked in at 5 o'clock. Lady on desk didn't even bother to open the door for me, she picked the money and ID through a small window while I was freezing outside. Price was higher than the average motels around the place. My experience was not so good.

A modest but clean and well-run place; nothing fancy, but convenient to the freeway and nearby restaurants and attractions in the Arlington Heights area. The owner went out of his way to help me out after my original reservation at another hotel got messed up and and I was stranded, with no rooms open literally anywhere. You may enjoy the mid-century-modern styling of the architecture, don't let the period look dissuade you. Large bed, clean linens and bathroom, mini fridge, TV - really, all you need for a basic place to sleep. Very reasonable rates, even cheaper than my original choice. Would book again if in that area.

While this place does not have all the glitz and glamour from the outside,this place is a textbook definition of don't judge a book by its cover.there's no fooling around that goes on at this place. The owner is very watchful and very persistent that the rules always be followed. I don't think I've spent the night in a motel or hotel where I had that peaceful a night sleep.there are no people in and out of rooms all night long, there were no voices being heard right outside the door, and all of the guess that I did run into were extraordinarily polite.

Small quiet place. It looks like some of the guest have made this place their current residence. I believe its own by a couple from India. The gentleman was nice an polite and gave me the WIFI password. I stayed 2 days or rather 2 nights and one day. I was supposed to check out by 11:30am on Sunday however, I forgot to set my alarm and over slept. I was awaken by a loud knock on the door and it was 2 police officers and the (Mrs.) the owner. She said she had to call the cops because I wasn't answering the phone nor the door and I had surpassed checkout it was 11:34am and apparently checkout is at 11am not 11:30am I apologized and quickly began gathering my belongings. In the process the woman the owner of Indian decent began patronizing me, she called the room 3 times the 1st time she asked if I was going to renew the room and if I had no money to get out (even though clearly I had paid for 2 nights at $50 a night. The 2nd time she called she yelled "IT'S 12PM WHEN ARE YOU LEAVING?" (it was 11:46am I told her I was sorry and that I was moving as quickly as possible because I had over slept) The 3rd time she called and said, "BRING ME THE KEY NOW!" so I did and she then said, "you have 10 minutes to leave the maid needs to clean and she can not wait for you!" I told her ok I'll be out in ten minutes. So I ran back to my room and literally 3 minutes later she opens the room door and walks in on me as I was changing she opened the blinds all the way and prided the door open with a chair from the room as I stood there with just my BRA! now mind you I was on the first floor facing the parking lot and just then walks a guest/customer as I stood there undressed and he stops and looks at me for awhile before proceeding to his room and the woman still has the nerve to say leave the door open. I was so embarrassed I felt so stupid, humiliated I wanted to cry I felt so violated and she was so insensitive she really could care less about her customers she didn't apologize or anything all because of staying an extra 15 minutes and that's because the owner her husband said "be out by 11 or 11:30am its up to you." I was going to stay for a week at $280 but I found a Motel 6 at 1000 W Devon Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 for $250 so not only is the price better the place is a lot nicer! It's not rundown its pretty nice and its right next to the expressway 290 so that's so convenient oh yea and its only $47/night if your on a budget these were the only two places I was able to find in the area that didn't go over $50/night or $300/week. If I had to pick between these two again I would take the 7.5mile commute it's only like 15 minutes its not so bad think of it as a cigarette brake at work LOL J/K but seriously don't stay at AAA Tower Inn & Suites I don't recommend it. Oh yea and at Motel 6 check out is at 12pm!!! To think the Indian woman at AAA Tower Inn & Suites was so pissed off and over reacted over a couple of minutes. I would of paid for an extra hour if that was the case what $3 bucks because if you think of it $50.00 divided by 24hrs = $2.08 she lost out on $280 because I wanted out of that place just as much as she wanted me gone. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE BECAUSE AS SOON AS CHECKOUT TIME ARRIVES IF YOUR NOT GONE THIS PLACE WILL INVAD YOUR PRIVACY AND OPEN THE ROOM DOOR ON YOU WITH NO REGARDS AS TO WHETHER OR NOT YOUR DRESSED OR IN YOUR BIRTHDAY SUIT.

the front desk person was terrible and rude! he was screaming at me for trying to call someone who was awake. he asked me why i kept calling when i only called once. so rude and unprofessional i was just trying to contact my mother. terrible terrible terrible

They don't rent to black people

The lady wouldn't let me use the restroom while I was waiting for my other party to arrive but the room was nice, clean, and comfortable.

It was disgusting & they lied about the price advertised & called the room both mornings at 9:00 am to see if we we're checking out & check isn't until 11:00. The staff is very rude.
