AA Heart of Wildwood Motels - Hotel in Wildwood - 4002 & 3915, Ocean Ave, USA

We stayed in late July with our friends who had two different room styles. I just love Building 2. The place was kept immaculately clean and housekeeping and all staff i met were so accommodating and friendly. I had daily maid service and the two Thai students were so amazing. |We had Building 2 pool and pool across the road which was nice to switch things up a bit for the kids. BBQ grills by the pool and we just sat swam and barbecued. |This is our new favorite spot right at the boardwalk.

Wonderful! The staff was super helpful with booking and recommendations. The location was excellent (right smack in the middle of everything). Fireworks could be seen from the rooftop on Friday night. Pool was down but we weren’t there to swim in a pool so that didn’t matter. I’d definitely book here again.

Cute spot. Loved the roof top view especially for the fireworks! Front desk guy was cool and helpful. Place was clean. Typical hotel style room. Only "issue" the ac was not great. I would highly suggest bringing your own fan to help cool the room. Roof top pool was closed. I was made aware of this prior to booking so not a problem. Pool that was open was clean and clear.

THE ONLY SAVING GRACE TO THIS PLACE IS THE STAFF AND LOCATION!! Situated perfectly on the boardwalk with the most friendly and helpful staff, this hotel needs a lot of work. I came from Indiana and paid over $400 for one night, the room was super hot, bed and blankets were not comfy, the shower was loud, there was only decaffeinated coffee, and there was about a 1 1/2 inch concrete step to the bathroom that I literally broke my toe on. I had to limp around my one night on the beach with my kids and couldn't sleep. It was mentioned to the front desk gentlemen about putting a sign or something due to the nature of the step. Will go back to location, will not stay here.

Just not great, considering the price. For some reason the owners don't seem to understand how to make customers feel welcome and acknowledged. TV service was not working, swimming pool at second hotel location was down due to a water problem, but we were not told until AFTER we checked in! Their explanation was one of " what do you want us to do"?, TV service is direct TVs problem! Being close to the beach and boardwalk and beach is /was that main plus! The hardest most responsive staff were the over worked maintenance man as well as the maid that served our bldg. #4! Pool was over crowded and brought into question of cleanliness!

We like the location of the motel being almost in the middle of everything we like to do and only a small block off the boardwalk. Generally a quiet place. Rooms are clean. Only 6 channels on the TV stinks. They Have 3 pools to use. 3rd year coming here. Overall always a good experience.

Where do I even start... Location is the ONLY good thing about this place. They advertise a rooftop pool that hasn't been open since 2023. It's been sitting there for a year now with no water in it yet they say nothing about this on their website or even so much as tell you before you come. The only other option for a pool is across a busy street and the pool itself is filthy and small, the 3rd pool is closed as well. The rooms are small and dirty. The place is basically falling apart. Yet they charge outrageous prices to stay here! If your gonna charge insane prices for your crappy motel then at the very least you could spend some money to fix it up and get your pool running. Young blonde haired girl at the front desk was very rude. She refused to honor us our heart of wildwood membership discount and give us till 11 to check out which it clearly states on their website. Why offer people to become a member if you don't even follow your own policies?

Terrible. This was our 3rd consecutive year staying here. Paid over $4,300 for the week for my family. Roof top pool was closed again. Main pool was green & filthy. I was told several times that it was fine which was obviously a lie. After complaining about the pool numerous times we were finally told that there was a problem several weeks ago with a pipe bursting that affected the entire town. Funny thing is every other hotel pool in town was blue and clear except this one. The third much smaller pool they have was blue but, very cold. I was told that pool was blue because it was a "fiber optic" pool. What? They just kept lying about it all week until the health department actually came out and closed the pool. They even went so far as to post a sign overtop of the health department closure sign to try to hide it! After that they finally had a professional pool company come out to fix it. Within 1 day the water was blue and clean again. Unfortunately that was the day we were leaving. The owners need to start putting some money back into this place. It's falling apart. Even the staff complains about the conditions. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Direct TV was not working. Rooms are not clean. Shower drain was almost completely clogged. Even the air filter for the AC was filthy and clogged. When we checked in the AC in our room had been turned off and the windows were partially open. It was like 82 degrees in our room. Even the refrigerator was turned to low and was not even cool. There doesn't seem to be any thought put into the overall condition of the property or the guests satisfaction and comfort, just profits. The location of this hotel is amazing but, I just can't overlook these failures anymore. We've had many issues in the 3 years we've been coming here but, this year was the final straw. The amount of money it costs to stay here is just no longer worth all the issues and problems. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else that hopefully values your business.
