A1A Ocean Club - Motel in Flagler Beach - 1204 S Ocean Shore Blvd, USA

Cracks me up the people giving 2-3 stars because of a TV issue or some other totally insignificant matter. Lol go to Flagler Beach to watch TV do ya?.!!?! Lol, not me; I'm at Flagler for 3 things: the beach, the beach, and THE BEACH!!! A1A location is key, Flagler is an exceptional community and A1A Ocean Club got me reservations, checked-in, and confirmed all in literally 5mins. You can't beat that! Not having a pool sucks, but you know that when you book it, so don't complain. Parking is directly behind unit, no issues. Room A/C is plenty powerful and 🥶 cold! Bed is fine. LOL these people complaining are hilarious. Look, if you want a clean place on/next to the beach, don't hesitate with this place. It's clean, market-priced, and convenient.

The location is great- right across from the beach & the hotel has a nice outside area for sitting- however, it seems there's no one on site if you need something or help with anything. We had the worst time with our TV, as there is a ROKU service that doesn't connect to any service or internet- there's this book in the room that has a list of the channels, but doesn't explain how to get the regular channels at all- I reached out to management for help after discovering no one was on site to help, and the response was 'can I call you back later'- it was around 8 and we just wanted something to watch at night instead of dead silence. One of the maids ended up calling me, telling me she had placed a dinner order down in St. Augustine, but could cancel it to come help- ( I didn't understand, why they just couldn't explain to me what remote to use, and how to get the regular channels over the phone) after hitting almost every button and setting- turning off the wifi and turning back on- I finally got the channels and told the maid not to worry about it. The next day, there was a maid on site, who was so nice and came to our room and she as well, did not know how to get the channels to work but attempted to press the buttons as I had tried previously- finally management called her & figured it out and we got the channels to work so we wouldn't have to listen to dead silence our last night. I think they just need to add in the book to set the setting to HDI2 and make sure the cable box in the back of the TV is on- that way future guest don't have to go through that frustration while on vacation. The pillows and bed are okay- a bit hard/stiff I thought. All in all, its an okay place to stay- nothing awesome, considering the price, in my opinion its a bit over priced for what you get.

Room was nice but little pricey.. I was 1-3 people staying here. Nice big covered outside area. I eat dinner here. Room, service and location I gave 5 stars. But overall I gave it 3 stars because of the price.

This is in an amazing location without a doubt. However the price was a little high for the quality. It’s been rainy so when we arrived it was very cold in there and unfortunately we were unable to get the heater to work and it blew cold air all night. We tried watching tv but the cable not the WiFi would work or connect. So we were just a little bummed to spend so much money on our vaca get away for a room in which nothing worked. We were lucky to get the coffee machine to work in the morning. Our experience was most definitely not worth $300 unfortunately.

We had a good stay. Outside of someone who came by to see if we wanted housekeeping, nobody was around. But all directions were communicated, and it was very easy using the keypad and getting the key. Right across the street from the beach. Room was clean and updated. It was quiet. Nice community outdoor area to hang out and listen to the waves. Easy walk to the main area with shops, bars, and restaurants.

I grew up near Flagler Beach and wanted to visit for my birthday weekend. My two criteria for a hotel were: dog-friendly and on the beach. The 2-star rating for this hotel made me and my husband a little nervous, but our options for a last-minute booking were limited. We were SO IMPRESSED by this place. We loved the homey feeling of a small establishment and the fact that you exit your room onto a large covered patio facing the ocean, just a few feet away. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy (my hubs wanted to steal the pillows!), they provided all the typical amenities (mini fridge, microwave, toiletries, towels, coffee maker, coffee, etc), and someone was always on-site and willing to assist with any needs. I couldn’t say enough good things about this ‘unsuspecting gem!’ It will be our top choice from now on when we travel back that way.

What a great find. This place is clean, cozy and quaint. The rooms and property are spotless. Beds are cozy. The a/c units in the room work very well. Right across from the beach with there own private viewing deck. There are beach access stairs just to the North of the viewing deck. A great courtyard area to sit back and relax in the shade. Viktoria was very nice and helpful. We also met the housekeeper who was super sweet. Sadly we were only there for one night. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

We had seen this place on our last visit, and thought it looked kitschy and cute. We decided to give it a try, and couldn't be more pleased. The room was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was a little too cold this trip to take advantage of the great outdoor seating area, but we'll be back when it's warmer. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely stay again.
