A Ya So Nice: Authentic Jamaican Food - Jamaican restaurant in New Castle - 165 S Dupont Hwy, USA

I stopped as I saw the flag and realized it was a Jamaican restaurant. I ordered rice and peas with cabbage and plantains. Delicious. Also had coconut drops and dumpling. This meal was amazing and very flavorful.Highly recommend this place

Food was absolutely delicious! Tender oxtails, well seasoned cabbage. The coco bread was so soft and buttery. Definitely will continue to support!

These people understand that jerk chicken should be grilled!!! I’ve tried many Jamaican spots since moving here several years ago. This is one of the only places that have jerk chicken that tastes like it actually touched a grill. Many claim that they grill their’s but few actually taste like it. I grew up in one of the bbq capitals of the US so I know what grilled meat tastes like. LOL Very flavorful and perfectly spiced. Go get you some. You won’t regret it.

Every time we go here, we are welcomed with a smile and receive impeccable service. The establishment is extremely clean and welcoming. The food is available soon after it is ordered, there isn't ever a delay. The orders have always been correct. The presentation as well as the taste of the food are more than desirable. The brown stewed chicken with rice and peas is my all time favorite, the fried chicken is amazingly good and the oxtail is phenomenal!!! Dining in or carrying out, you will not be disappointed!!!! I love it here!!!!

Went for my first time today to grab a couple small orders for my wife and I for lunch. Staff was was super friendly and helpful with menu options. We got 1 small order each of the curry chicken and oxtail, both paired with cabage and rice & peas as our two sides. Both dishes were tender and seasoned great. Sides were tasty too and paired nicely with the sauces from each main item. Well worth the visit and we'll definitely be back to try the spicy red snapper in the future. Thank you!

best jamaican food i’ve ever tried!

So I’m no novice to the flavors of West Indian food (Haitian here) - so i expected a lot out of this spot. The dumplings were literally the best dumplings I’ve had in a while, talk about deliciousness in a ball. So that was great. The rice was okay, nothing to write home about. The cabbage wasn’t as seasoned , if any. But it was doable when eaten with everything else. But the chicken , it was good (curry chicken) but it had all these tiny bones i had to keep picking out. Really frustrating to eat , but i finished it anyhow. I now go here for only the dumplings, i promise they’re just that bomb. Dumplings 👌🏾☑️ Customer service 👌🏾☑️

The prices are high but the atmosphere is awesome you can tell that they put money into the building and into the quality of the food definitely would recommend going here for lunch if you work in the area just keep in mind that it is a little pricey but once again the quality of the food being able to call in early all the super beneficial
