Worth the trip. The pizza here was fantastic in every way. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The crust was perfect, sauce and cheese all working together in harmony. I had to stop myself from eating half a pizza. I’m not an expert on New York pizza but this pizza stands among my favorites in western pa and is worth the drive. The meatballs with ricotta were a perfect appetizer. It’s a great feeling to know there is a wonderful community of pizza makers In and around Pittsburgh driving excellent pizza! You will not be disappointed at A Slice of New York.

I drove 1 hour 30 minutes to try this place and it did not disappoint. I ordered on my way and the pizza was coming out of the oven as I was walking in the door. The owner Shawn is a class act and took time to chat a bit and even make some suggestions on other pizza places to try next time I’m up the way. I ordered the half pepperoni and half cheese and it was delicious. I had a square slice of Sicilian also and it was great as well. Definitely try this place.

Absolutely amazing food. Pizza was delicious. Garlic knots were done right. Fresh garlic lots of Parmesan… delicious tomato sauce for dipping. The meatballs were something special also. Tender and full of flavor. That dollop of ricotta 🤌🏻. The staff was so down to earth and just made you feel welcomed. They had a bin collecting school supplies for kids in the area. The owner is a super cool dude and you can tell he’s doing this because this is what he loves. Pizza is his thing… so give it a try… like Now. Prices were beyond reasonable. Whole amazing pizza, knots and balls for like 40 bucks.

Actual Authentic NY pizza. Perfectly cooked 18 inch 8 cut, foldable pie! Absolutely the best pizza I've had since NY! I just had their New Vodka pizza. Normally I'm all about the traditional Peperoni pizza, but the Vodka pizza is to die for! I'm going to have a hard time deciding on my order next time! If you want a whole pizza call when they open at 11 am. They sell out daily so you need to reserve your pizza and time slot! It's well worth it!

Listen this is a real pizza joint. I’m not looking for great atmosphere but a great pizza. This is one of the top pizza spots in Western Pa. Other than Rockaway and Pizza Badamo. Yes Mineo’s, Fiori’s are Pittsburgh style Slice of New York is New York Style.

My husband and I moved from LI, NY 10 years ago & haven’t had a good garlic knot since. Well, the search is finally over. Run, don’t walk, to this hidden gem. Very friendly staff & very clean place. Highly recommended!

Easily top 5 pizza in the Pittsburgh area. Sean (the owner) and his kids were some of the nicest people you'll come across. Shared our favorite NYC pizza places and Sean shared his own with us as well. Great pizza, great people. Will definitely be a regular pizza spot for my wife and I.

Great pizza. Easily one of the best in all of Pittsburgh. Owner cares deeply about quality and service. I tell everyone I know about this spot. So good and soon expanding closer to me!! Edit: New Location Review!! New oven makes a huge difference. Pizza is crispier and fluffier at the same time. New setup makes a huge difference in the ease of ordering and getting your food. This place is a no brainer easy choice for pizza. A 10/10 rating is an insult to how good this place is.
