A Shore Thing at Charlestown Beach, LLC - Bed & breakfast in Charlestown - 2183 Matunuck School House Rd, USA

I cannot say enough great things about this place and our stay here this past week in July. My daughter and I love Charlestown and the beaches, so we decided to stay at A Shore Thing. The Inn is charming, the rooms are super clean, and the grounds are just lovely. The breakfast is fantastic and well worth getting up for. Patty and Jen are very welcoming and do such a great job with every little detail. We shopped at The Barn and found some very cute items to take home. We just left and already can't wait to come back.

I had a Great Stay in November! The Location was for me very suitable as I visited a colleague who live close by. It’s a 5 min drive to the beach and a restaurant is across the street. The room is very nice, with a comfy bed and big shower. I most appreciated the service. The breakfast was home made and varied every morning. The owners took great care of me and in couldn’t have asked for more. Can highly recommend this place!

Excellent accommodations. West wing was perfect first floor suite. Gorgeous grounds! We spotted the fire pit and Pat came right out and started a fire for us. |Delicious breakfast everyday. |Pat and Jen took such good care of us, I’ll never be able to stay anywhere else when visiting Charlestown RI. Their attention to detail and anticipation of our needs was beyond any place we’ve ever stayed.

My friend and I were in town for a wedding and needed to find accommodations close to the venue that wouldn't break the bank. We found A Shore Thing online and booked the Beachcomber Room for two nights. It was a small room with two twin beds foot-to-foot, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The location was very convenient to restaurants and the beach. The room is nicely appointed with comfortable beds, a decent size bathroom, and nice toiletries. The room is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. It's clear that a lot of attention to detail is given and the owners take a lot of pride in the property. Patty and Jen were very communicative prior to our trip and were delightful in person. The breakfasts were positively delicious, and we also enjoyed shopping at the darling shop behind the property. I would definitely book at A Shore Thing again if I was ever in the area. Thank you, Patty and Jen, for a wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at A Shore Thing. Jenn and Patty are wonderful hosts and go above and beyond to help with anything you may need. From spotless clean rooms to delicious breakfasts, beautiful grounds and fun conversations we were again completely happy!! Highly recommend staying there!! You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at A Shore Thing! Patty and Jen had great hospitality and made a delicious breakfast every morning! There is a large backyard with adirondack chairs to lounge around in. There are also some restaurants right across the street. Only 1.4 miles from Charlestown Beach. Would definitely come back again! We had a great stay in the dunes room for one overnight. The location is perfect. There are plenty of places to eat and the beach is right down the street. Patty was a fantastic hostess and the breakfast was wonderfully delicious . We would highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at A Shore Thing! From when arrived at the B&B to when we left we felt extremely welcomed and taken care of. The beach decor is super nice inside of the rooms and the furniture had an elegant look and feel. There were extra small touches such as a throw in the room which was great to use outside on the porch. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic! Make sure you check out the barn for some custom gifts. We relaxed on the porch and listened to the birds sing. We are a little early in the season but it seems that there are lots of beautiful flowers that will be blooming. We will be back :)
