My wife and I recently spent three nights at this wonderful bed and breakfast. Everything about our stay was top notch. Chris, the proprietor, is an interesting person and gracious host. Each morning Chris prepared a delicious, healthy and filling breakfast. Our room was very cozy and comfortable and the house itself is quaint and well-decorated with items Chris has obtained on her travels. The location is in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from downtown Colorado Springs; the walk/drive offers a great view of the mountains that dominate the west side of the city. ||||We plan to visit Colorado Springs again soon and will certainly stay at A Room with a View.
This is a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walk to the center of Colorado Springs where there are restaurants, shops and more. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. There is a nice sitting area on the front porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee while getting to know the other guests.||||This highlight of this B and B is the host, Chris. She does it all and is committed to providing the very best. There was a freshly baked pie for us when we arrived (and it was darn good, too). We were asked to select the style of breakfast we preferred and it was delicious. Chris uses mostly fresh, local fruits and vegetables and with them produces the most amazing dishes. She is also very knowledgeable about the community and the state and is so very helpful about places to see and things to do.||||We have stayed in many B&Bs and we would have to say that a 'Room with a View' is one of the very best.
We stayed here a few years ago and I always meant to leave a review even though I never write reviews. I never forgot about Chris, the host, and honestly, she deserves a great review. She was so helpful and welcoming! She will make you a hearty breakfast in the mornings and give you an insider's scoop about the Springs and surrounding areas. The B&B is within walking distance to downtown (in fact, we walked it several times), and the house itself is cute, cozy, and feels like home. I highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed in A Room with a View for two nights. We loved the place. It was an ideal location-close to hiking and within walking distance of Colorado Springs restaurants. IT was also very quiet and the room comfortable. The price was excellent for the accommodation. ||||We really enjoyed staying with the host, Chris. She is a retired P.E. teacher and very knowledgeable about outdoor recreation activities. She had great recommendations for hiking and running. She is also a ski ambassador so I would image she could provide skiing information, too. ||||The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had at a b&b. She customized it to our tastes. It included local fruit preserves and bread from the farmer's market, yogurt, local fruit, great coffee, and homemade granola. She was more than willing to make hot food, too.||||The location has plenty of parking, which is great. The rooms have a thermostat so you can adjust the temperature according to your needs.||||I would highly recommend this place. It's one of the best B&B's that my husband and I have stayed over the past eight years!
What a fantastic place to stay in Colorado Springs! Walking distance to downtown, on a quiet street with ample parking. Chris is a lovely host and made us delicious breakfasts every morning. The rooms are impeccable and meticulously decorated. We highly recommend staying here!
It was a lovely comfortable space, very clean. Location is very convenient to downtown and area attractions. Chris was charming and her breakfasts were amazing! The front porch was a cozy space we enjoyed in mornings for coffee and relaxing in the evening. Chris was very helpful and accommodating. We would stay again when in the area.
I stayed at Chris Conboy's B&B "A Room with a View" in Colorado Springs earlier this month during a pickleball tournament. It is an ideal location, downtown Colorado Springs across the street from a park, short walk to the pickleball courts. Chris is a great cook- put together wonderful breakfasts every morning. I will stay there again whenever I return to Colorado Springs.
The Innkeeper is hospitable and organized yet accommodates each guest's schedule. The room and inn are clean and relaxing. The location is fantastic - near downtown Colorado Springs, across the street from a park, a pleasant drive from Garden of the gods, Pike's Peak, and Colorado Custard Company in Manitou Springs (which is worth the 14-hour drive from our home just to enjoy the Single Track!!!) A Room with a View is the perfect home-away-from-home base for your next vacation! We are already planning our next adventure!
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
