I had a Friday lunch and had no wait for a table. This was my first visit, and ordered the Mole Poblano and a margarita. Both were excellent. I will return! The restaurant is cute inside and has an outdoor patio although the patio chairs and tables were not set up when I arrived. Parking will be along a nearby residential street. The bill was just over $20. Given the amount of chicken and size of the margarita, the price was well justified. Later: I was asked what meal this is. I believe it's their Mole Poblano. It was wonderful.

What a great place, and it wasn’t busy. The five tortillas with my meal made it portioned out perfectly.

We enjoyed several taco dinner plates for our 5. Carnitas were especially good. Absolutely nothing disappointing. I had Steak A La Brasa and was very happy with my selection. Pretty stuffed. Nap afterwards....will go again...nap to be determined. Kudos to my son for taking our family there for a post football late late lunch.

Nice shaded outdoor seating and delicious Mexican food. Server spoke very broken English but was so good natured. 2nd location opening on Bassett Street soon.

Visiting from California we have our share of Hispanic restaurants or taco trucks. My expectations were not high. The food is decent but I would not go out of my way to eat here. The enchiladas were okay but the chicken was spicy which took the flavor away from the enchilada sauce. The mole was good but left a lot to be desired with the mole sauce, salt and more of a chocolate flavor were missing components. I ordered a michelada which was also okay oddly received it with a quarter of the glass empty or full the perception is yours. Presentation is not everything but maybe a smaller glass would be better. The service could also be better, if you’re in a pinch you’ll be able to dine here or get something to go on the fly.

We went on a Wednesday night and I got a vegetarian burrito which was good. It did feel like we waited for service for too long & then another long wait for the food. The queso we ordered for the chips was mostly cold by the time we got it. While my experience didn't astound me, I got a good amount of good food for a good price. I'll give this place another chance, but maybe order to go.

Look, I’m not going to say I’m a burrito snob by any means, but I love a good burrito. From the non-traditional Mexican spots like a Qdoba and Chipotle to the more authentic Mexican burritos- This is the BEST burrito I can recall having let alone in the Madison area. My co-worker and I had them at work a few nights ago and it was so good we ordered them again tonight. Tacos were solid too, but this burrito… I did steak and she did Chicken. Both phenomenal and 3 of our co-workers have had them since and think the same! Beyond filling and the flavor is amazing- salsas are great too.

Typically a lunch visit for me. Pricey for lunch but the food is good. A bit of a language barrier, but just know exactly what you want and point it out on the menu. Usually no wait for lunch. They have a lunch menu but the prices are so close to the dinner menu I opt for the dinner portions.

Great family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food for a great price. We went here on a whim because they were one of the few sit-down restaurants that serve food after 9pm. We were able to be seated immediately and served promptly. T
