A Family Inn - Motel in Rapid City - 3737 Sturgis Rd #64, USA

Room was absolutely terrible, lady who works states that the room was not dirty upon us going in the room. When we walked in side of bed had stains, bed had hair, and the bathtub had moldy rust around the tub and by the nozzle for water. We stayed 4-7 days paid 200 for a crappy room following a 400 deposit fee that we are right now unable to get back because the owner has not come in. I am now taking this to court to get my money back as it’s been almost a month that I have not received my deposit. I recommend you don’t stay here as these scam artists continue to scam your money. I had called and called the front desk today a guy answered kept telling me days this owner would be in to get my money back said he should be in Thursday so I told him Thursday will be the deadline and I will take them to court he stated take it to court and hung up. Terrible customer service terrible trashy people stay in these rooms. Was not aware of it until a couple days I seen rugrats walking around.

Visited an old friend here. I loved the layout of this place. Just an old hotel that has been converted to intermediate living. $750 per month includes all but electric. Step above homelessness. Glad this place is here to serve a purpose in that community.

An older style motel, rooms are monthly rentals, one bedroom kitchenettes, located just off Sturgis Rd. Walking distance to Big D gas station, and bowling. And down the road from Outdoor Campus West. Call the office for availability 😁

Unfortunately I lived almost a whole year with my wife and two daughter because it was cheap rent. I regret ever doing so because the person next to use I’m positive does meth as well as all the people that stop there as well. There has been several damages done by the people that worked here and they never repaired anything as well as our heater as never worked. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away from this place!!!!!!!!

It was ok until everytime I shut the bed room door I heard banging even if the window was closed

Yikes. I can see that they are working on the roof, but the rooms that are "ready" to be rented for the month are not up to par. Even a good $500-$1000 on each room would make a world of difference. The carpet needs to be replaced. The chairs and mattress need to be thrown away. Everything in the whole room needs to be thrown away and redone. Manager was nice but oblivious to the fact that the whole room was eeeek. Scary. Hopefully they will decide to put some money into the rooms and not just outward appearances. A little cleaning and some paint go a long way.

i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Whoever wrote the good reviews for this place...you must be tripping. I don't think they even clean the rooms or take care of them for that matter. When we first got to the room there was a plastic Wal-mart bag hanging on the bathroom door with trash in it. I was to scared to touch it. There is a stink stuffy moldy smell to it. The Carpet is FILTHY and smelled like pee,chemicals, mold, and cigarettes. We tired to leave before we even touched the room the same day we paid for it but they refused to give us our money and said we had to stay for what we paid for. Note: that the people in charge are very unprofessional So as being held against our will we tried to make the best of it. The walls are very thin we could hear the people next to us fighting and having sex. The bathroom floors, tub, and walls have mold underneath them that looks like they tried to cover up with paint. We tried to cover up the smells with febreeze which did not work I think it made it worse. We bought our own towels and blankets because the ones they provided did not look sanitary AT ALL! and we kept our shoes on till bedtime. Taking a shower didn't help either it was smelly and the tub wall was trying to come off, Had to rush out of the shower because it was clogged or something the water wouldn't drain properly.The smell got so bad in the room but we were not about to sleep with the window open, so we kept the a/c fan on and got a hotel room elsewhere for the night. We did have to tough it out though because they refused to give back our money and it was all we had to spare. Just walking into it was a major mistake. Do not expect anything good from this place unless your desperate and can't smell. I was told of no breakfast and the pool looks like it is broken, wifi was a joke. I felt so unsafe I took our things with us if we left anywhere. I am disappointed and appalled the health department and BBB has not looked at this place yet. DISGUSTING! This is my first hotel review ever and its only because I want to let others know the truth.

New management has done a lot of upgrades. The hotel is easy to find and we could park close to our room. The kids loved the pool. Staff were quick to respond to our needs and to answer questions. The rooms were clean and quiet - we had people in surrounding rooms but never heard them. We used a family suite and loved the space it gave us. We would definitely stay again!
