Very well priced compared to other options in the area. |We had a room with a private bath. Would not stay here if it was a shared bath like some of the rooms. Spacious room, loved the wall paper and overall decor. |Decorative bedding did not look clean and overall, not that clean. Bits of paper on bathroom floor as well as a random sock that didn't belong to us. For that reason, beyond the sheets being changed, not sure if room was cleaned before our stay. |Great place across the street to grab food. I wasn't expecting breakfast so wasn't disappointed that they don't provide that. |Would stay again if in a pinch.

NO BREAKFAST available. This listing and street sign still say "B&B". False advertising!|I had one of the best rooms in the main house, with lovely furniture and atmos, but an uncomfortable mattress.|Beautiful, original double dining/lounge downstairs with free pod coffee, tea, etc and tiny kitchen available 24hrs. With fridge in room, it's easy to keep and prep your own food. They give you a spiel about great food at the 7/11 store, and somehow do not mention that there is an amazing gourmet food market inside the Pemberton Farms garden store directly across the road. No sign outside PF store either - travellers generally would not go into a garden store methinks, so I only discovered this gourmet food hall on my last day.|House has a grand staircase, beautiful old woodwork and a big stained-glass window. I loved the house so much I spent most of one day just hanging out there.|Seems to be a family-run business; they could probs do with some professional advice from a hotel consultant. Efficient but not at all friendly or welcoming, esp the guy who signed me in.|With a bit of effort - tidying away nests of cords to the TV, maybe mounting TV on wall to remove some excess furniture, installing permanent (quiet) inverter air cons/ heaters rather than the window aircon that allows in road noise, they could make this into quite an upmarket joint. I would suggest tidying up the neglected front yard (where guests can sit). A Feng Shui expert could advise on some improvements too.|Davis Square is wonderful and very close. Porter and Harvard squares lack Davis's vibe.

I loved the location of this inn. It is surrounded by good supermarkets plus few minutes away from Davis Square where you can find lots of restaurants. It is also 25-30 minutes away (walking) from Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). In terms of service, the inn has good drinks bar for free. Also, you can request to add an extra bed if you are 3 people sharing a room. When it comes to basic cleaning services, I believe they need to develop this one. If you have a heavy luggage, check if you can get a ground floor room or any help with luggage. If you come late, i.e. after (11:00) p.m., check with the front desk to leave your key in the mail box.

No breakfast included at this "bed and breakfast"...staff appears to be underpaid and overworked. The man at the main building wasn't friendly, and actually had quite a rude temperament when we reported an issue with the doors not locking and having trouble with operating the heat in the room. Great location and a cheap accommodation, with unclear room instructions (just print them out instead of spouting a long spiel upon check-in please) and unfriendly staff.

Reasonable price for a clean room with private bathroom at the contemporary house. In a good location with easy access to the red line. Absolutely no complaints.

Great place to stay while visiting daughter in law school. Easy walk to the school and lots of good food in the area. Quick ride on the T to explore in Boston. Nice, clean room in the modern annex.

Cute and spotless, but no a B&B, only coffee or tea,comfortable rooms,great location, except for the front desk guy who was yelling at us

We were in a contemporary room in the building next door to the main facility. The bed was comfortable. Management let us store our luggage before check-in, but was otherwise not very helpful. The room had a refrigerator. The spare quilt smelled faintly of urine. Most annoying was that, even though this is listed as a B&B, there was no breakfast. Only coffee. So don’t stay here if you’re expecting breakfast to be part of the value.
