I would like to give this place another try. I got the chicken katsu lunch takeout special today, which I had called in with plenty of time. When I got there, it was clear the order had never been submitted to the kitchen, so I had to wait for 15 minutes while it was made. The special came with delicious miso soup, a sad little iceberg lettuce salad, a tasty but small egg roll, and a really great piece of fresh melon for dessert. The chicken katsu and rice dish was decent, but nothing special. Overall, pretty good value and quality. I live near here, and it was crowded even though it was noon on a weekday. Looking forward to going back and giving them another shot - maybe dining in.
We really enjoy the food here. The fish is fresh and rolls have a lot of great flavors. Nice roll sizes for the price. Tried the Sesame balls from another persons review but didn't think there was much to them. Service has been just ok when we've gone. It does get busy so they could have just been overwhelmed. They have beautiful paintings on the wall and TVs.
My wife and I love eating here. It's a convenient location on F street (and 6th). The find is delicious and affordable. Besides the great sushi, there are GoRgEoUs paintings on the walls that we love to look at. I highly recommend you try this restaurant next time you are going out to eat. 10 stars!
It has beautiful paintings. It has pretty good service. They served the sodas in the can, I thought that was a lil weird. But the food and the options was the best this place has to offer when it come to sushi.
This place was so delicious! The rice was perfectly steamed and had a really nice soft texture, and the raw fish was really soft and had a nice texture and a really nice subtle flavor, not too fishy at all. The miso soup as well was perfect! So many places make there miso soup WAY too salty, but I feel like this one was the perfect balance :) and had a wonderful savory flavor which was complemented by the green onions in it. The green tea was also super yummy! It wasn't bitter and didn't taste fishy, it was just really nice and calming. The ribs were super tender and tasted great, fell off the bone pretty nicely. Staff were super nice and food didn't take too long to come out, and the bathrooms were very clean. It was all around just super yummy and I totally recommend this place! I want to come back to this place at some point for sure.
Loved the food, love most of the people working there except for this one Hispanic looking dude that was working there could not stop looking at me like he had never seen a transgender before and the way he talked to the chef and pointed at me like I didn't notice really rubbed me the wrong way all the other workers there seem very nice with great customer service I do recommend trying the crunch rolls I thought I hated sushi but theyre rolls here changed my mind!
Staff was friendly, greeted at the door. Sat quickly. We ordered two rolls an Island mango and a Red Dragon, and some items off the special board. The food was good, we would come back. The Island mango roll was the highlight of the selections!
The food we ordered was pretty good, the only thing I didn't like was the chicken skewer. We had the katsu chicken bento box, California Roll and shoyu ramen
Local lox toast on sourdough was so beautiful and delicious and my maple spiced latte was so good made with local roasted beans. Highly recommend! Inside area was in a beautiful old hotel.
A premier Art destination for the area, with a permanent collection of Morris Graves' works as well as rotating shows. Inside a historic Carnegie Library, there is ground floor access on the north side of the building for those who want to avoid the
absolutely delicious food and beyond amazing service!! The spicy katsu was so good and mac salad was perfect. I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant. The owners were so kind. We finished our experience with their refreshing shaved ice.
Itâs small but still a relaxing place you can come and just enjoy the different plants. Wasnât so crowded and itâs next to the zoo. Easy to walk through and still beautiful to enjoy. Parking is along the street but if you donât like this you
They are so fun! Loving and caring people. They always seem to have a smile on their face and ready to greet you with a bunch of joy and happiness. They always seem to lift my spirit when I'm having a hard day. So I get someone to talk to and coffee
Every dish we tried was very good. Good flavors and pretty on the plate as well! The gentleman at the register was very patient while we mulled over the menu options, he made some good recommendations as to whatâs popular. We will definitely be bac
