If you're interested in guns, do not bother walking through the doors. I went in asking about glocks, the guy is not interested in selling anything he's got. He handed me a glock priced $100 more than a brand new gen5, asked me "you going to keep dry-firing my gun" after I tried the trigger 3x. Rimfire cartridges are what you're thinking of my guy, and not too many glocks in .22. He doesn't know about guns, and won't really let you look at them. Go anywhere else for a gun, you'll spend less, you'll be able to properly look at the gun, and won't have to deal with the owner of this place. I would not normally care to leave a negative review of a local business, but you'll just be wasting your time if you're looking for a firearm.
I was excited that there was a local computer store, so I went there looking for a used desktop. We talked to the sales guy who was very nice. I bought an older Mac (for $250) and hoped that I could update it as the sales guy alluded to. The sales guy didn't know exactly how old the computer was. After I brought it home, I found out that the computer was too old to be updated. I took it back the next day at the default settings and was planning to make use of their well-advertised "99 day return for store credit policy". However, I was told by the surly owner that I would have to pay $50 to return it because I had tested a program on it to see if it could operate on the older operating system and if it could be updated. He said that he never tells anyone about this $50 policy because it "rarely happens" (even though the ease of the "99 day return policy" is very much advertised). Per the owner, I could avoid the $50 if I completely reinstalled the operating system which he said would be free for me to do (it wasn't, according to the Apple customer service over the phone and at the store). I would have ended up with only $200 in store credit for using the computer just to test if it could be upgraded and only had it overnight. I ended up selling it on my own and losing money (but got cash so I wouldn't have to visit this store again). Later, I found the same used computer online for about $100 less. This could have been a great, local computer store , but it seems poorly run and unfriendly.
Having recently moved to Loveland finding 99 Technology not far from my home was a spectacular discovery. 99 Technology is a diamond in the rough. It's a great find for any tech enthusiast or consumer looking for a good price or hard to find piece of hardware. They have incredible pricing that beats any other retailer (brick-and-mortar or online). Also, they have amazing selection for such a small shop and extremely friendly and helpful staff.
"MISSING THE EASY STUFF" I've bought from 99 Tech before and was very pleased. I needed another machine and planned to go this past weekend. I checked their web site and it says they are open 10-4 on Saturday. I planned my morning around visiting their store. When I got there, they were closed. The door sign says closed Sat and Sun. So I ended up buying my machine from another store in Loveland. Ironically, their hours are 10-4 and they were OPEN.
They have branched out to pawn Shop recently. Good values on used computers. Not as much selection on display but they had the stock on hand when i shopped there. Microsoft Certified computer refurbisher.
They didn’t have anything in store but on phone he said he had everything it local and I don’t not like this shop and it’s a waste of time !!!! (My opinion)
This place is awesome! My daughter and her best friend did a daily drop in and shoe rental. The girls climbed for a good two hours and had an absolute blast.
