99 Restaurants - New England restaurant in Hingham - 428 Lincoln Street, MA-3A, USA

It's a hit or miss with good service when dining in. We come here often. Some of the bartenders are nice and make drinks the way they should be. Some are condescending and will fill a glass with ice so you get 3-4 sips out of a $10 drink, and when you order something else they get offended and make the next one so weak it doesn't taste or look the same as a person your dining with who ordered the same thing. Dinging in food is always better then takeout. 2023- Service here has really gone down. Anytime we get take out, something is missing , cooked wrong, or it's skimp on items for the price you pay. Asked for med tips and honey bbq, the tips weren't pink and no bbq sauce. Food is warm on the the colder side. And when we dine in service is subpar and mixed drinks are weak. 2012-Good food. Service not so good Most of staff is unprofessional and has attitudes. Only have come a few times. Each time not so good experience.

This place has actually improved since I went here once 2 years ago. Hate my experience then, but loved tonight experience. Our waitress was attentive and let us know what was best for drinks and dinner. She also didn't hover over us, so really enjoyed the celebration of our family member turning 21. Would be fun to come here again, because even though it was Wednesday place was packed.

The bartender, I think her name was Anne, was awesome! She was very attentive and seemed to know a lot of the other patrons by their first name. The service was excellent and so was the food! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

Worst place ever, I was waiting on my dordash order for a customer and I called them about those “to go express spot for delivery” and they told me I could just wait in there and they would bring it out for me, so I wait over 20 min and I called them again about the order, some rude lady told me I would have to go inside to get the order. They need to start training people better and not doing false advertisement!

Apparently they close the food down almost an hour before closing called the Weymouth 99 and asked if they were still taking food orders and they go of course we are we don’t close for 45 minutes the same time as the Hingham one but apparently they couldn’t serve us food but Weymouth took our order with no issues at all

Both my husband, brother-in-law and I all agree that the food, service were all bad. Don't know if the waitress we had was new or what, but when we ordered our appetizers we thought the tenders were suppose to be buffalo style, but instead they were just plain and dry. Also the waitress took our order and main order at the same time. We thought they would come separately but,everything the appetizers and the main meal came at the same time. I ordered the ribs. They were fatty and did not taste good at all. As my brother-in-law and husband said. The 99 food is not like it use to be, we will have to start going somewhere else to eat like Applebee's or Chili's unfortunately. On a scale of 1-10 it got a 1. And the music was so loud Heavy metal type, so hard to hear each other speak.

We love eating at the bar! Great staff especially the bartenders. Friendly patrons. Consistently yummy affordable food and drinks. Love this location SO much. Try the fried cauliflower app, the spicy chicken sandwich, chicken tenders with gold sauce, seafood chowdah, and the stuffed shrimp. Keep up the good work!!
