Certainly NOT the 99 Cent only store that I grew up with. Nothing is 99 cents. NOTHING. Everything is expensive for an outlet grocery retailer, on par with standard grocery stores. Other non-grocery items are also expensive. For instance, a pair of honeycomb biker shorts were $5, but Walmart sells the exact same shorts for $4.79 and a huge selection of colors and sizes. What is the incentive to shop here now? Nothing, in my opinion. I'll shop at Northgate for my Mexican ingredients, Costco for quality meats, cheeses, eggs & milk and Dollar tree for everything else like cheap makeup and Holiday decor. Shame on you 99 Cent Store.
Some of the stuff is really junk but I love to shop here! Weird, right? It's just one of those kind of places. The employees were also really nice.
Very organized and clean store. Easy to find aisles and items. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
I am a bargain shopper, label/ingredients reader, healthy eater.. and this store will surprise you with the types of options available. The housewares are generally very cheaply made but if you are a bachelor or college student needing a cereal bowl and glass cup.. this is your place. The refrigerated section has a lot of food I'd probably give to a food bank.
On a recent trip I bought fruit, supplements, cat food, housewares, etc. for $66. Seemed pricey but these stores are no longer just selling 99 CENT ONLY items.. and the Biden inflation is still raging as of January 2023 (you get what you vote for, right?).
They had literally almost everything for my holiday party. Even the fancy cheese for homemade Mac and cheese
They have several other items and stuff that you can buy there. I didn't have the chance to check it out completely but it's pretty good.
Don't you hate it when the person in front of you has 60 items and you have only one. And they don't even offer to let you go first!?!? Oh well the place is nice anyway
Need to work on stocking more items other then food!! If you know they sale fast order a bigger quantity!!!
