929 - Cocktail bar in Queens - 42-45 27th St, USA

Great vibes of Mandarin and Cantonese music that I grew up listening to! So nostalgic. Drinks are great! Not the melon you know is amazing, bartender’s kiss. My friend had a blueberry Cheesecake and that’s also BOMB. There wasn’t anything similar to an old fashioned on the menu, so I asked the bartender to make me an old fashion riff, love it. A gem in Court Square!

The atmosphere and the vibes of this place was stellar. I really like the theme they were going for. Service was amazing. The drinks were okay they were creative however i think for the price we should have a little more. Bar food was also great!

Dark & retro canto/mando inspired speakeasy. Our group of 5 went on a Thursday night recently and was told there’s a 90mins time limited. Well we understand since it isn’t a big place and it did get busy after a while. The server was nice and informative. They have limited items on the bar food menu but the food was really good to our surprises. We ordered the Fried Platter(Popcorn Chicken, Cuttle Fish Ball, Green Bean, Bai Ye Tofu), Braised Beef Shank, Fried Buns and Radish Cake. Everything was tasty and flavorful. I personally like the radish cake a lot. We end up ordered 2nd on some since the snacks were quite small. Now onto their cocktails with interesting names for the drinks. We’ve tried a few and were not too much of a fan on them. Innovative drinks with ingredients like sesame oil, herbal syrup & Chinese five spices (just to name a few) weren’t so much enjoyable to us. We ended up order generic drinks like gin and tonic on our 2nd round. I would give 4 stars if they weren’t trying so hard on creative cocktails. After all it’s bar and drinks matter!

We came here during the grand opening and had a super long wait. Hopefully the waitlist structure and policies has been improved since then. The food here is close to authentic, but a little pricey with the portions you’ll get. Same as the drinks, very small with the price. However, the drinks menu is very thoughtful and creative, and they’re all inspired by classic Chinese songs. We tried most of everything on the menu, and my personal favorite is Sweet Guilty Pleasure. If the wait isn’t that long, I will highly recommend my friends to come at least once to try their drinks. It’s a really nice neighborhood bar with special theme.

They have the most interesting cocktails! They incorporated a lot of interesting Asian ingredients in their cocktails, unique and delicious, it felt like I was at a bar in Hong Kong! Strongly recommend the "Not the melon you know". The fried food platter is very good also, but a bit pricey.

ame on a rain check after some initial problems with staffing. The second time was a much more pleasant experience. The drinks came out very quickly, and they were per creative in ingredients and taste. The sweet potato fries were also pretty tasty. I'd recommend for drinks and light bites

So happy this bar popped up in LIC! All the cocktails we got were delicious! Must tries are Natsu No Breeze and Sweet Guilty Pleasure. Food is also yummy especially the potato fries. Ambiance is cool too. There is a live person playing records. Will def be my go to spot for drinks and dates now!!

Came here close to closing- I think only 30min before they closed. Ordered a lot of drinks and they were each very tasty. I enjoyed all of them! They had a really unique concept and I really liked the interior design!! Will definitely be back and recommend :)
