an excellent addition to the neighborhood! the platters are excellent and super fresh. the white sauce is to die for, and their hot sauce has the perfect amount of kick. what a nice surprise that they even have tasty after meal treats and snacks to curb that sweet tooth like fried oreos and twinkies 😎

Chicken and rice was spicy otherwise it was good. The burger was ok. Very clean front dinner area. Would go back. Chicken and rice, burger combo with fries and a soda were $21 and change. The city of Newburgh put parking meters though. Plus the DOT NY bridge toll over Hudson river.

Chicken and Lamb over rice is good but the service sucks I don't know why people open up businesses in the hood if they don't like the people that live here. I asked one of the guys who worked there to put my salad separate because it was for work and I would be eating it the next day and he said he can't do it. I explained that it had been done before and he offered to put it on a napkin. I ask if he could use the wax paper bag like last time. He then refused and said he can't do it, and then lied and said he didn't have any meat or rice for the platter. I don't understand why we continue to give these people our business if they don't want it.

I was in town visiting family and had a taste for some fried fish and stopped here. Wish I would’ve kept on going, bad choice. The crust on the fish was thick to compensate for the thin fish that was hidden inside. The fries were Season but over cooked as well. NOT worth the $10.01 I paid and there was no bread like most restaurants provide.

First off, I used to go here all the time. The food is great, I have no complaints there. My problem is more so with the service. 1) Multiple times they messed up my orders. They either gave me the wrong thing or things were missing from my order. 2) A few times I went to get fried chicken, I was told I would have to wait over an hour to get it because they didn't have any prepared. 3) Twice I went to get food only to be told that I couldn't get what I wanted because they decided to clean out the fryers. Mind you, this was in the middle of the day (around 1pm). 4) They need consistency at the cash register. I could get the same things three different times & I would pay three different prices each time they ring me up.

This my second time trying 845 Halal. The first time I picked up and the second time I had it delivered via DoorDash. The food consistently taste amazing. So far I tried the platters, Newburgher and beef patty twice. This restaurant can’t be compared to the “other spots”. Next time I will try the fried chicken to seal the deal.

Lovely place for halal food, we tried Peri Peri chicken with salad and a chicken OD. Food was delicious and you can ask them to make it spicy or mild. Staff was very friendly and helpful (explained me about the dishes as it was my first time here)

Love the chicken gyro. Best of the food is very good also.
