Supportive environment with informative, skill-based classes in both Muay Thai and Strength training. The coaches are highly knowledgeable, experienced, and create an intense but friendly setting. The community is very queer-friendly too! Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in a supportive but challenging physical experience.
I have been coming to 8 limbs for the Strength and Conditioning program for almost a year now and I love it. It's the best gym environment I've ever been a part of, hands down. Coach Kate designs really interesting workout programs and it's so satisfying to see and feel myself getting stronger over time. All of the coaching staff are really attentive and kind. Highly recommend!
8 Limbs Gym is honestly the best gym I’ve ever been to. I’ve paid for many memberships in my life and I really think this one may be it. I started off thinking i wanted to do Muay Thai, but by me just getting back into the gym it wasn’t the right fit yet, so I joined their Strength and Conditioning program. Coach Kate is wonderful with explanation and direction. You don’t feel the pressure like in other group settings, it feels like a team working together. I’ve gained some weight over the years (couldn’t find a gym that I really liked) and I was able to keep up and not feel like death was knocking on the door lol, but there are always opportunities to level up the challenge. 8 Limbs works for me because of the location (West Philly), the coach and the program. I couldn’t ask for more.
I joined 8 limbs a few weeks ago and I'm blown away by the quality of instruction by Coach Kate, group support, and workouts. I feel like in such a short time I've got feedback and can already feel my alignment getting better. I can feel my body getting stronger each workout. This place is such a gem in West Philly! Come check in out.
I've been coming to 8 limbs for strength and conditioning for over a year and it's hands down the best gym ever (period). Caring community, incredible coaches, clean, and is a great environment to push yourself safely. So grateful to be part of such a special spot!
Great gym and essential part of the community! Our son takes youth classes here and is engaged and motivated. The owners are great! We’ve cycled through the standard range of youth sports in Philadlephia, and it’s a rare thing when a novice who is in no way a natural athlete feels welcomed, included, and empowered.
8 Limbs is such a great gym and community. I was brand new to muay thai but felt lots of support from the coaches as I gradually learned the fundamentals. It's challenged me in all the right ways and has been lots of fun doing it. The community is a great mix of people from diverse background and skill levels, I highly recommend it!
I take the strength and conditioning class. The coaches are outstanding—very attentive, always ensuring that the exercises are done safely. And they offer helpful alternatives when something is out of reach, accommodating a wide range of experience and skill. Overall very welcoming and encouraging community. If you’re at all considering it, don’t hesitate to give it a try!

Coffee here was amazing! The iced latte was great! The black coffee was something else! So fruity and aromatic - truly a great experience! Very much recommended getting their beans too!
Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
A must stop if you are in Philly!!! Kevin's creations are incredibly delicious. Put down the cheese steak and go grab some tasty vegan, gf and dairy free options. Dessert=a meal. Back-to-back visits made us super fans!!! Pls open up a place in J-
A unique hotel with history and a very nice decor to enhance any stay while traveling. We stayed there for a couple days during the New Year's Holiday and had a wonderful experience. Great location in the middle of the city, safe and close to everyth
Great food, great prices, great quality. This is very fine Indian cuisine made with high quality ingredients and spices. Iâm mostly impressed at how fast the guy cooks, so if you are on your lunch break like I am, itâs great. You can also call
I did an OBA class (drop-in) while visiting Philadelphia in January. I read some comments here that they're not "drop-in friendly", but that's not my experience at all! Signing up was very easy. At the reception I was asked what my fitness level (ok,

Loved it! Small museum filled with interesting wood art. Free to enter and enjoy, but they really deserve a generous donation. We were welcomed warmly, introduced to the museum and offered a tour. The displays are well organized, the museum space
The sound in Verizon hall... I have seen a good variety of performances here from Orchestra up to the top balcony and the back of the space. The hall is shaped like the inside of a cello. Opened in 2001 and updated in 2010, the sound is impressive. G
